I just got slowrolled like a bitch.

Guy flops a set and turns a boat. Time banks it, waits for 1 second left and calls my pot shove.

Then says 'ty' in the chat.

Thankfully the board paired the river and I overboated him. Bitch.

poker sites hate slow rolling (cuts down on rake) another example from today. Villian took all day before calling, and I was playing very aggressively he had to know his hand was good.

Pissed someone off the first hand I played today.

I'm on the BB with Qc2h. Tight player in the SB completes after a handful of limpers and I check.

Flop:

QdTh2c

Tight player bets out 6, I make it 16. He calls.

Turn:

QdTh2c4c

Check. I bet 25. He calls.

River:

QdTh2c4c5c

He immediately sticks it for 61.

At this point, I went into my normal routine where I get into some standard questions like the "will you show me if you fold?' one amongst others. He alternately does things that I usually peg as weak and strong. I'm really confused. I check back and see that I have the Qc, so he didn't have top pair that went runner-flush. I tell him I'm having a hard time giving him credit for a hand that beats me and ask if he had KcJc, which he says no.

Finally, I ask the dealer, "Can I show him my cards?" She says yes and I flip up my two pair. Immediately he slams down A2 and shouts out, "BAD FOLD!" I calmly say, "call". He flips out. Two players accuse me of pulling some shenanigans. I ask for the supervisor. He comes over and declares that my hand is live. I win the pot. The guy throws his cards and drops a bunch of F-bombs and other such pleasantries.

Ship it.

I have no idea what that's supposed to mean.

Yeah, I had things going on that kept me home some over the summer, so I played on FT for a while and found that the $20s, $40s and even $80s were semi/super soft. When my "life things" changed, I cashed out and played live again.

As you know, I came back to the internet a couple weeks ago, and they play tighter again now. That, and I have a "suck out on me target" on my forehead.

Spicy Chix w/ Cheese is my absolute favorite fast food item as well. My first job was at Wendy's when i was 16. Standard protocol is 2 slices of cheese one on top and bottom the chicken. So if you order it with cheese and only get one slice you are getting shafted. If i eat in and only get one slice i go to the counter and say that there are supposed to be two slices. I usually get a confused look but I always get my second slice. You are being charged for it.

Also don't eat the chili, ever, seriously.

but the meat is so tender

yes it is and there is reason. as you may know wendy's burgers come hot of the grill. this is true so there is always meat on the grill. sometimes the meat goes unordered and stays on the grill for a really long time. sometimes 3-4 hrs. at this point the meat is placed in a bin aptly named the chili meat bin. this bin is absolutely disgusting being lain with grease, grissle and burnt meat.

this meat stays in the bin until it is full which sometimes takes 4-5 hrs. then it is bagged in a huge freezer bag with grease and all. then it is placed in a freezer for 2-3 weeks. then at the start of a day the meat is dethawed, reheated, and chopped up then served in your 99 cent chili.

sometimes when someone orders like 6 burgers and only 5 are on the grill, the chili meat bin is utilized. the meat is so dry and gross. sometimes a single can be chopped into a junior. so if you see a spatula gut on your junior bacon cheese i would not eat it.

dethawed

This is not correct...

Wouldn't that be the equivalent of freezing?

I love our mass-production food system. It's highly efficient.

Yeah, but some genius in a JCPenney shirt and tie invented the process and didn't want to just call it "warming up the old meat." So he coined "dethawing."

I never order hamburgers from fast food places. And after watched kitchen nightmares on Fox I might just eat in for the rest of my life, or at least stick to well established places.

Because I know where the meat comes from. It's cheap for a reason.
