If these were true, how would the press get wind of it? Would a guy who falls in love with his mother and tries to bang her on the beach immediately go to the local newspaper?? I would assume everyone involved would keep it pretty quiet in both stories.

Well, they explained that by saying they used that excuse to the cops!

Regardless, the names are too similar and the scenarios are too weird...I think shenanigans.

That's not too terrible. This is your average large dip in the curve for variance.

Sure it still sucks. But you don't hear about much worse, because when players get to that point, they've given up on bitching and have turned to religion.

Eh, after looking at their schedule it's 11-5 at best. You can't honestly believe they're beating the Pats. They're splitting the series with the Cowboys. And they're losing to NO in NO. That's assuming they fair well against the Bears and the Seahawks, which I'll give them the benefit of the doubt cuz it's at home.

And this is all contingent on McNabb getting hurt halfway through the season so the team can play better.

Why do you think the Pats always go to the superbowl?

a - they get to beat up on
1- the Bills
2- the Jets
3- the Dolphins

b - when they're done running that board of nursery-school teams, they have a 15-1 record and get home field advantage throughout

c - obviously, they never suffer any critical injuries, because they've never played an NFL team

d - we'd never have heard of Tom Brady, if we hadn't heard of the "tuck rule"* first

Realistically...

Broncos - Cowboys final score 24-14 Broncos.

What I want to see...

Packers - Pats rematch... the same result as last time would be wonderful

9er's are a playoff team, but they don't have the depth/experience to make it deep into the playoffs.

This is the craziest damn thing I've ever read. smile.gif

Anyone see Jason Taylor walk off the field during the game to rip down the Dallas Cowboys sign a Dallas fan taped to the wall? Taylor tore it off, crumpled it up and threw it down. The fan unwrinkled it and went to put it back up, but when Taylor came back off the field, the fan pissed himself and didn't put the sign back up.

I'm not sure if that got any national attention, but it made me like Jason Taylor much more.

Seriously, I think there are intersections in the NFL.

If Trent Green doesn't absolutely shred his knee, we never hear of Kurt Warner.
Naismith
I can understand with Warner, but Brady has the type of skill where he would've found a way to make a name for himself one way or another. I already consider Brady to be the best QB in the NFL, but certainly this season will make the Brady vs Manning discussion even more interesting as this is the first year Brady's had comparably able WRs.

Also, Neck, how're the people handling the Red Sox there? Please say poorly.

O rly? Are you talking about 6th round draft pick Tom Brady? Picked behind four or five punters Tom Brady?

A couple years ago, I could have said the SAME THING about Warner and won any argument.

We're not talking about a guy who has done it for two seasons, though. We're talking about a guy that's consistently one of the best players in the league and has three rings to prove it. That trumps being a sixth round pick.

Two amazing years and one decent year:

Microsoft already sent out a problem free supply, but they are hogging the serial numbers, so you don't know what your'e getting.

are you just trying to put me on tilt, there is no way they have been doing this for the last three years. Also if you don't protect your signs you are a sucker.

Also if you think that other teams haven't done similar things in the past you are being ignorant.

I understand Kurt is a hometown boy but he isn't close to Tom Brady in terms of skill.
