Strictly in heads up...

Is it ever the right play to lay down the second nuts?

I can't see how it is I just seem to be losing to the nuts ALOT today HU. I just started playing PLO HU SNG's and I totaly could just be playing badly, I am fully aware of this. At least 5 times today I have been playing an opponent who is raising every street with a naked ace high flush. It seems every time I catch my King high river flush, they have the ace. I am not as mad about losing the money as I am trying to find out if it is ever correct to lay it down mathematically.

Hope the post makes sense...

2nd nut straights could routinely be layed down in heads up PLO. Flushes less so, boats never.

yes, 2nd nut straight especially but it depends on how the hand played out and the tendencies of the player etc.
