Nice team monkey, maybe in 5 years. Are half your guys rookies? Have you tried setting a lineup yet, because I can't find enough guys on your team worth playing. Can't wait to play you.

Yeah, you have a decent QB. Now 2 RB, 2 WR and a flex, they are?

Parker, Willie PIT RB
Portis, Clinton WAS RB

Colston, Marques NOS WR

braylon edwards and samie parker I'm not sold on. But, others might disagree. Not horrible options for second wideout. He can platoon the flex spot.

considering he drafted a QB early (I would highly assume this) his RB selection isn't that bad. Top 10 guy and a potential top 10 guy if he can bounce back this year.

FYP

For the record, while Kitna is certainly not Peyton Manning, my 2nd wideout is Lee Evans. My flex is a choice of Donald Driver or Laverneous Coles. Should make up the difference and then some. But that's why we play the game. Bring it on!
digitalmonkey
Samie Parker - 249th overall pick.

Edwards is good for about 1100 yards and 6 TDs this season. Book it.

Lee Evans will put up about the same yardage as Edwards with maybe a couple more TDs. I'm confident that the difference between Manning and Kitna will more than make up for those 2 extra TDs. Plus Colston and Edwards are young and improving while Driver and Coles are on the downside; and this is a keeper league.

Also, I like LenDale White (RB) as a sleeper pick in TEN.

See you Week 1!

I like him as an eater pick. Showed up to camp WAY over weight and lazy....AGAIN.

To be fair, I stole all of digitalmonkeys good picks just before he could take them. So my team is the r0x0r.

I think on DMs team, Edwards will have close to the same type of stats Colston will.

As for Evans...1/2 of his TDs and 1/5 of his yards will come from one game...he's sooooo inconsistent.
TRB05
Keep an eye on Sammie Parker, there is talk on local sports radio here in Kansas City that there is a chance he may not even make the final roster. Right now I think he is listed as the #2 WR but I'm not real sold on it. Besides, that is actually #3 behind Gonzalez, and H. Edwards I think would like to run about 45 times and throw about 15 passes a game.

Just bumping this for fun. I backed up my smack talk, having the game won already with 2 more players on Monday. The difference between Manning and Kitna was...Kitna's rushing yards which made him score fractionally better than Manning. Wide receivers? Other than Evans, who joined the whole Buffalo offense in not showing up, all me, with Coles and S. Smith crushing Colston and Edwards.

Better luck next time, monkey.

Manning 29.52
Kitna 29.26

New math?

---------------------------------------------------

And I'm happy with a few of my players. As it stands I would have demolished the other two teams in our division.

OK, I guess Manning is better than Kitna. However, they must have made an adjustment to the passing yards after I checked, because that was not Kitna's total. Either that or I can't read.

I'll admit, Im a lucksack

Out of the 12 teams, in terms of points, I was 10th, meaning i scored higher than 2 people.

I played one of those 2 in Week 1.....and the other in Week 2 smile.gif

I need 21 yards from Portis Monday night.

BTW...Braylon Edwards and LenDale White aren't looking too bad. smile.gif

Braylon Edwards' performance was a freaking joke! Can't believe that you are in such a sweet spot to win it with the way Carson Palmer blew up. Good game though :-( Ya bastard! I was hoping for an easy 2-0 after Carson. Freaking Clark and Edwards!

Kind of funny. What does the guy have to do? Carson Palmer throws 6 TDs, and not only does his team lose, but his fantasy team loses as well!

Sloshers roll again, get used to it. 300 points in 2 weeks.

Top 3 scoring teams this week:

Yoda
WKTSWAY

JasonWeber record after this week:
12-11-1 (and that's counting Jan's 0-5-1) icon_biggrin.gif

Teneight record after this week:
10-14... 2 of the 4 worst teams pts-wise in the division.

Scoring: JasonWeber 2184.90 Teneight 2022.44 - and that's NOT counting this week when our division (minus Jan tongue.gif) blew up.

Oh, and now that DelRio figured out what MJD can do, look out, with my RBs I have a shot at winning THIS year.

Yep, but even if we combine all of our records (including Jan's), we are 12-11-1, you are 10-14 (Tritz division is 13-10-1). If you add up all the points (including Jan's), we have 2684.44, Tritz div has 2591.16, your division has 2386.26. We have 3 of the top 5 in the power rankings, you have 2 of the bottom 3 (and 2 in the middle of the pack).

So yes, Jan is in our division, but we are still far superior.

And look at what team has the best record in the league! After losing the first 2 weeks, I've got 8 in a row.

Favre is obv my starter over Cutler. The only major changes I've made are dropping Darby, Snelling, Hester, and Perry and picking up Mason, Engram, and Hackett (Yoda dropped Hackett, how silly). Also dropped Troupe for Lee who has had a great year at TE to help me through the Davis injury.

Edwards on my taxi squad has already started some games and Beck will be starting for the first time this week, so the future is looking good. Chambers going to SD looks like it may have dropped VJack off the face of the earth, but my WR FA pick ups have done very well and it looks like if AD is healthy for the FF playoffs I have a shot to win it. Even if he doesn't, I have some WRs who catch a lot of balls and those points rack up fast.

Top 3 teams in the power rankings and 3 of the top 4 all-play records are still in the JaysonWeber division.
