I was wasting time on IMDB and stumbled across the tom hanks film Cast Away. Being 12 at the time of viewing i didnt really think beyond it being an entertaining film. After reading the informations on wikipedia and such there seems to be so much that can be read into the film. Like the willson and the angel symbal. While I am tempted to just go out and rent the film again I was hopeing in the mean time someone can give me there thoughts on the symbolism involved in the film.
Also i know this film is 7 years old, does everything discussed here have to be current.
