How does one overcome the "holy shit that's a lot of money" complex?
By saying that I mean that while playing 0.25 right now, I don't really care if I lose to a pot sized bet in a pot that is $12. At the end of the day, it's $12.
Once I'm playing at $100 and $200, and a guy shovels $90-$100-$110 in against me on the river, HOW the hell do you make that semi-marginal call? I guess that's what playing with proper br is all about but man... Right now, I can't see myself ever thinking of it that way.
I wish the sites had a "BB only" option, where you could make ALL table buyins and stacks and bets in BB. There would be no dollar signs. Every time you bought in to whatever limit you were at, you buy in at "50BB". That would be something I'd use for SURE.

It comes with experience I guess, but like you said it has a ton to do with bankroll management. Its a weird situation because you want to be able to not think about the money but at the same time you dont want to completely lose all respect for money. You just want to try and never be results orientated and always just look at every decision by the percentages not the dollar signs, earlier in the day I lost a big pot when I got it in with a huge draw and bricked, I felt like sht because I could have slowed down and saved money when I lost instead of getting aggressive and losing a monster. That was me being results orientated and I knew that it was the right play but I just lost so oh well. I've heard it many times before and I do believe it, in order to be a good player even a great player you have to not think about the money your playing with.
I am much better online then I am live, when I play live and have to make a 400 dollar call it is much much harder than online.
