The play seems fine. I would say I am about 85% sure you are beat by 6th street, and are possible even board locked. However, I think you have to call down with the size of the pot and hope he is paired.

Very doubtful he paired. All things considered, I check/call down against loose/aggressive players, fold river against passive players. I seriously expect us to be beat.

I second the motion.

If you are calling 4th (instead of folding since you are now 2 cards behind vs someone who reraised you preflop) how can you not bet 5th when he bricks out and you catch good?!?!? Bet there and I think there is a good chance he folds (and that only needs to happen more than 1 time in 3.65 to make it profitable). Checking screams weakness and let's him value bet you on 5th, ... and 6th, ... and 7th..

at the .50/1 level, I have to agree with you. Against a good player who would know right, I c/c this. I have the best hand right now, but I'm not the favorite. I like the hand for one bet, but not two. If I know the opponent will push his big draw against my bets, I'll check/call him on 6th, and then reassess my situation on 6th, when the percentages will change dramatically, and I'll be better able to guage whether my hand's worth more than one bet.

check-calling 652 on 5th against his K gives your hand away. bet there. you may take it down if he paired 4th. c-c on subsequent streets are fine.

bet 5 once he bricks it

i think you have to fold on the end...what can you beat that would 3-bet you on 3, besides 3-6? would he 3-bet with a 10 in his hand?

with 8.5:1 pot odds? we're better than 8.5:1 to win this pot. maybe in a smaller pot, but in this spot? call's fine.
