as i've said to you before, i can only imagine what kind of game PL triple draw is...i will try to base my opinions on a combination of NL single draw strategy and limit triple draw strategy

i'm ok with the pre-draw play, i would be raising in limit

if it were limit i'd raise the first draw, but since it's pot-limit i like a call...you are drawing at a rough 8 here but he drew two and then led out...you were a card ahead of him on the draw and probably need to make one call here, you are probably not dead in this hand and even though you might not have the best draw you will enough of the time to justify a call here...remember how important being a card ahead is in triple draw

hand 1: i pot predraw. this game is ALL about getting things HU, and limping won't ever do that. depending on the villain, sometimes i toss after the first draw, sometimes i raise and try to get him to break (you're barely behind if you get him to draw again, or you can snow him, etc.)

hand 2: pot predraw to get it HU. you CAN play this game trying to bring people in, but that's only when you're drawing at some sort of 7. an 8 just ain't gonna cut it in the huge, multiway pots outside of a #5. fold after 1st draw is ok as played.

note: try concentrating on playing a lot more aggressively early to buy the button and get pots more shorthanded so you can win with 9s and stuff. you'll also be involved in all the big pots this way and make more mobneys than everyone else.
