I went over to my dads house last night to play in a little game he was holding with a bunch of his coworkers. It was .25/.5 nl and i bought in for 50. This was the first hand i was dealt, so no reads.

Hero in big blind ($50)
villain on button ($80 or so)

Hero dealt 5h3h

Preflop: everyone limps to button who min raises, hero calls so does everyone else.

Flop: 7h 9h Kh

SB checks, Hero bets $3, 4folds, button calls, Sb folds.

Turn: 7c

Hero bets $10, button calls

River: 2c

Hero? should i check call or bet, and if i bet how much?

Value bet sir. You are way ahead of his range. Hope he has a King and will pay off a medium bet. You'll probably get a call of like $10-12 from KxJh or KxQh a lot, especially if there is a chance your dads coworkers are donkeys.

Then again you could c/c a bet on the river, but you'll lose value since he could just have the Ah or a King and check. I like betting a lot more.

How many players at the table? If everyone at the table saw the flop and the btn raised to $1 your flop bet seems a bit light unless there were only 4 players at the table.

As it stands, I think there is a very large chance that villain holds the Ah, in which case he will not call a river bet. I would probably check here to try and induce a bluff from your opponent.

Sorry, I can't read, the title states it was seven handed. This means that the pot was $7 on the flop. With six opponents in the hand, the $3 flop bet is too small, another heart means we are beat. I think we need to bet around $6 or maybe even pot it here. Especially since Ah will not fold, so lets punish him for drawing.

You need to bet to keep from getting steamrolled. $12 +/-
