obv. was looking to check-raise 6th. not sure what i was thinking there... but I knew that my hidden 6 vs his 7 was my hidden savior and thought villain would bet out again.

You've caught too scary for him to bet out here (on 6th).

He seems to be playing straight forward - betting when ahead. Check/calling when behind. You should do the same.

I do pop 6th though. It's slim whether to bet 7th or not, and depending on the opponent and whether I'd get value out of him calling a rough eight or not, I would check.
