5 folds, CO raises to $16.3 (All-In), 1 fold, SB calls $15.80, 1 fold.

CO is a dipshit. There's no better way to describe him. He's not lagtard, he's not tricky, he's just missing the frontal lobe of his brain. SB isn't retarded. I wouldn't say he's worldclass, but who is. He's average, which isnt really an insult.

Now, Im 100% sure I have CO beat. I may have him crushed, I'm not sure, but I'm sure I have him beat. SBs smooth call of a 16xBB push obviously sends alarms off in my head. I'd have position, but the pot would be huge ($50) by the time we got to the flop, and even if I hit one of my cards, I woulnd't know that Im good.

I folded, and the thinking above is why. Guess I'm just looking for advice on this kind of situation.

sb knows co's a jack *** too so he's willing to call the jam w/ a wider range. he flat called so I'd put him at a similair hand to you, aq aj ak, 1010 99, not better and possibly worse, anyway, you can get him out. RAAAAAaAIIIIIIISSSSSSSEEEEEEE.

Yeah. I raise here.

SB prolley just had the same read as you. I don't mind calling behind, I don't mind 3-betting, I don't mind over shoving. I just hate folding.

your quite deep & so is SB so a call or raise is acceptable given the circumstances but I prefer a raise & try to take it down to HU between u and the fish!!

This is one of those situations where it doesn't matter, SB is playing CO just like you want to. I don't mind a smooth call with an all in if you hit your hand on the flop. Heck, SB may even check you down if you smooth call PF. SB having AA or KK is a concern, but it wouldn't suprise me if SB had JJ, TT or AK ... When you have a complete moron like CO, and a sharp player like SB going at him, SB range is much wider.

Sum up: absolutely not a fold. Checkdown/fold if you don't hit and SB gives action (unexpected). Push and take your medicine if you hit your hand, especially the A.

something other than a call u mean.

I guess I'm weak tight. The smooth call by such a tight player really sent alarms off in my head. I have no problem admitting I have holes in my game, which is why I posted this hand, because I just wasnt sure how to approach it. Most of you read the SB right. He had JJ and the CO had AJsooted (which was a better hand than I gave him credit for tbh)
