Yeah, I'm pretty much in the same boat. Plenty of chick friends, no baginers on my pee pee in a while. Hence the training.

People have started noticing changes, which is added motivation. Eating right is the hardest part, especially considering I make pizza for a living.

if I worked in a pizza shop for a living I would just give up and be happy settling at 250. good luck to you in alllllll that.

FYP

What you eat is easily as important as the excercise you do as well, you've gotta eat healthy - plenty of high protein, low fat - Tuna, turkey etc

But yeah, running is good if you're a masochist

I used to think the same thing until I started running regularly. the thing I always hated about any kind of cardio is that it felt like it took forever to do, and when I was done I didn't feel like I really accomplished anything except to be hungrier than when I started. after I run I really feel like I've done something. I like it.

and of course eating healthy is very important, but its amazing how many fat people I see going on their fad diets, eating all super healthy, and complaining about not being able to lose any weight. then you ask what kind of exercise they're doing and they say "none." well no shit fat ass, you have to move more to lose more calories. oh those silly fatties.

Fair play, i can't stand it - I'm bike riding at the mo and find it massively more enjoyable, feel like i've done something and it's easy to see if i'm improving with a little cycle computer thing

Totally agree, eating is literally 50% of the battle, be it losing weight or putting on muscle

It's at least slightly more convenient for me in that we have a full kitchen, so when I'm starving at work, I can usually just throw together some grilled chicken with spinach or other green veggie and take my mind off it.

The biggest thing I'm struggling with is bread. White bread is so bad for you but I am literally surrounded by it every minute I'm at work. Plus the fact that garlic knots are my ultimate weakness, and it can get very tempting.

Where I'm at right now, I think the diet is actually more than 50%. I'm not really concerned with losing weight right now as opposed to building muscle, which pretty much means I need to be leaking protein out of my ears. At the same time, I don't want to add any fat on, so I'm staying away from white bread, fried foods, etc. One day a week I cheat and eat whatever I want, then the next day it's back to normal. It's been working for me so far.

Has anyone noticed that when one is trying to lose weight/gain muscle/look better/whatever that once you take a break or have a bad week, that's when you hear the compliments?

I've done nothing but drink and eat shitty food for the past 5 days, and was told today that I had nice shoulders (by a girl I want to plow).

I don't get it.

...and no, she wasn't drunk.
