I'm looking for a good limit poker book that deals specifically with low limit, even micro if there is one. I have Super System 2 and the chapter on limit hold'em was excellent and gave me an extreme interest in limit poker. Any other books that I should have a read of?

As I said before, I'm playing micro kind of limits, so books that deal a lot with very loose games would be excellent. I'm aware there probably isn't that much reading material on micro stakes since it's generally a lot more luck based, but yeah, any suggestions would be great.

Not necessarily for micro limit, but good for low limit. Read Small Stakes Hold 'em: Winning Big With Expert Play by Sklansky/Miller/Malmuth

Thanks for the suggestion. I looked it up and saw that there is also "winning low-limit hold'em". Has anyone read both of these books and can tell me which one they think is better? Price isn't an issue as they are both exactly the same. I could buy them together and save a little on shipping, but I'd rather just buy one as I'm assuming they're pretty similar.

I bought "Winning Low-Limit Holdem" for a friend. From what I read of it, it looked excellent. Sklansky's books are also very good, but I think they are a tougher read. I'd go with Winning Low Limit Holdem if I was going to choose just one.

DON’T read Winning Low Limit Hold 'em by Lee Jones; it teaches a "weak-tight" style and is not recommended. The Miller/Sklansky book, SSHE, is much better, and while it is not for absolute beginners, it is a fabulous book.

That would be fantastic, but I've only got 50. I play PS exclusively, but my FPP never seem to go up, probably because the rake never reaches 0.40c at the stakes I play...

Holdem on the Come by Rolf Slotboom is excellent for loose games as well. Really good at teaching how to figure implied pot odds and if it will be worthwhile to chase to the river
