Full Version: big blinded twice in a row?!

I'm not sure if this is common with some sites or not, but I have an issue with it. Well, I guess you can only expect so much from Pacific Poker, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. But anyway, I was in a multi on there the other day and was a short to medium stack and it was nearing the bubble. There was an empty seat to my right and I was on the BB. Well, during this hand a player gets moved to my table in that seat, and on the very next hand I am forced on the BB again! Now, I was still able to sneak into the money and actually get top 20 or so, but does any other site that you guys know of allow this?? I know that at Stars they will force the new player out a hand and allow the blinds to continue where they should be. I emailed their support about this and received this as a reply:

Dear William,

Thank you for contacting us.

William, I am very sorry to learn that you have been forced to pay the
big blind consecutively.

This is unfortunate, but it can happen, in order to ensure parity during
a tournament we move people from different tables to ensure that there
is an even number of players across the remaining tables.

This process is done entirely at random and can happen to anyone, but
once moved it may be that any one player will have to pay the blinds
again - like I stated it is unfortunate, but it can happen.

I do understand that it can be annoying when this happens, especially
when one is moved to a table that seems to be hosting all of the players
with the big stacks - as a poker player myself I could see that it would
be hard to bluff someone out of a pot in that situation.

However, I am sure you can appreciate the fact that whilst this rule is
in place, one can also benefit from it greatly as well - it may be that
you are moved from table to table and never once pay the big blind or
you may get moved to a table where the players are looser and have
smaller chip piles...

We have considered various ways in which we would have been able to
change this process but in the end we decided to keep the current system
in place as it seems to be the fairest way of distributing players and
keeping the tables sizes level.

If you require further assistance in this or any other matter, please
feel free to contact us - we are here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week.

Kind regards,
Trini

Well I guess I can live with it, even though this guy is pretending that he plays poker and understands. What the hell does bluffing have to do with my problem?? lol...

Well sorry for the lengthy thread, guess I'm just complaining too much. I'm also pretty bored...

I think he was trying to go on some random tangent and failed miserably.
