k well.
with the jacks issue, i think limping with jacks, especialy in late position is bad playing.
Its smash strategy. (basically limping with any pocket pair lower than Kings to try and hit a set.)
u are losing too much money by playing jacks for set value in a limped pot, because if and when u do hit your set, u want there to be a decent sized pot on the flop so you can invest more money than you would if it was limped.
It will take practice, and many many cash game hands to get to a point where ur competent enough to play any two cards from any position and maximize ur EV when ur hand hits. and minimizing ur loss when ur hand misses.
I used to play very TAG, and always played Jacks or lower for set value by limping. Just takes a little time or practice... whichever u wanna call it.
for the hand:
he min raised preflop and now throws out a feeler looking bet. if u just call on this bored, i'm sure he'l assume u have a piece of the J, KJ, QJ, J,10 etc...
I'd raise it up. raise it to $2 if he has anything at all, he'll call, if he's playing aces like a retard, he'll shovel. nh.

First, can I ask why you are only at like 30% of max buy-in? Always buy-in for full to get maximum value from donks! As played, raise to 2 for the reasons Royal listed.

I dont mind the flat call here. He either has air or a big hand, so if he's behind hopefully he'll get pot stuck when he turns his card, or continues to bluff/value bet.
If you know your opponent to have calling station tendencies, you can play this fast though.

Gentle raises. Bloat the pot if turn coordinates the board somehow.

Perfect spot for the minraise. If the villain has AK or any kind of hand, he won't fold for a min raise. If he has an overpair, you give him a chance to play back at you. It also gets the pot getting a little bigger which is really important since you such a huge hand.
