I'm watching it. Chef Gordon Ramsey is my idol.

The chinese cowboy is a joke. He is only there for ratings and can't cook. His sweat drips into the food.

I want to have angry sex with the 22 year old black girl.

I just finished watching last night's episode, and I got so frustrated with thatstupid fat asian cowboy again, I DEPISE when producers interfere with who they want to kick off. Obviously, they know Aaron is ratings gold, and they want him along for a few more episodes, because there's absolutely no way that one guy thought Eddie was worse than Aaron, I mean, he just isn't.

Some early front runners, Melissa, Rock and that douchebag with the goatee.

This better be coming to europe in the near future, Season 2 was awesome but it aired in europe ca. 3 months after airing the the US

hmmm I am thinking about taking this bet. Because in previous years always the front runner tends till fold or do something stupid to piss off ramsey and then they are gone.

My brother worked for Ramsey at Aubergine in London as we only live 20 mins away and he is a mentalist for real... although once you prove to him you got the mineral to stick it out & produce the goods he's a top bloke!

I wouldnt give 5-1 on the bet. maybe 3-1 at the very most. But like I said the show is still super early and it hard to judge.

I'm loving season 3. It's like the only show that I'm watchin this summer. I thought monday's episode was great. I think they had to do breakfast just to let Julia shine, I think she's Ramsey's favourite. Just like that chick last year that made it to the end. He likes someone who isn't that cocky and is willing to learn. Julia and Rock will be in the final three.

Yeah, Julia and Rock are my top two.

I'm not one to bring in race and stuff but it seems so obvious in this season that race is an issue. Both teams have acted as if their black partners are not good enough and at this point although both teams are stinking it up, Julia and Rock are the two right now that have pissed off Ramsey the least. But their teammates feel they both are the weak links. Pretty interesting side stuff to watch.

From what I could see, none of those guys can cook as evidenced in their very 1st challenge. The "Top Chef" contestants must piss themselves laughing at those guys.

Thats why they won't really RUN a restaurant when they win:

the cooks on this show are just terrible. It would be interesting to see top chef's guys in this show.

this show is really sucking...i don't know if it's the fact that i think it's fake now (i think it was Fileerrorwho posted that link)

none of the contestants deserve to be there, except the waffle house girl! (btw her and Rock heads up)

I also think the decision of over ruling the picks to be eliminated was BS. What's the point in playing a game if you can't work the system.

I do really like ramsey, has anyone seen his other show? Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares?
byaaatch
Isnt the kitchen nightmare show a new show? But you can basically tell that he is the star of Hell's Kitchen where the chefs have no purpose in the show compared to the way TOP chef they are the stars not the judges or padma.

I am getting close to actually not watching hells kitchen any more

Is that the same way he dealt with the giraffe this past week. That was frickin hilarious.
SBriand
He is much more 'relaxed" on Nightmares. He digs into people but not like he does on HK. He does that on HK for show. It's phony as all get out but entertaining and I expect the US version of Nightmares will be toned down a bit.

So what the **** is the deal with Melissa. She went nutso. Did she drink out of the same water as Aaron did? That girl is looking more strung out each ep. Plus the soulpatch is growing nicely.
princeof56k
Seeing the girls put that sorry duck breast in front the soon to be married couple was awsome. They didnt even try to dress it up. That killed me.

And yes, Melissa has just gone crazy.

I swore i just saw something on tv recently about Michael (season 1 winner) owning his own restaurant. I believe it's somewhere in California....its called something like Tatoo.....but it was some quick blurb...maybe on the news or something, like it just opened. It may have even been on the previews for HK3.

I really do think it's funny however, when you look at the actual experiences of the contestants....some of them can't even tell you what half the ingredients are....let alone how to cook with them

bumpage for next weeks finale

has anyone been watching? who do you think is gonna take it down?

What I like about this show is that there's absolutely no way for us to know whether or not the food is even good.

I love this show, it's been entertaining the whole way through even though it seems like most of them can't cook. The fact that Bonnie made it to the final two just seems like such BS because she should have clearly been eliminated when nominated vs Brad. Seems like she must be screwing a lot of the producer if not Ramsay himself. Regardless of all that Rock wins it hands down just like most people watching the show want, GO ROCK!
king_tanner
I agree Bonnie should have been out way earlier. But still a good season, if you look back at the last few seasons there have been other people who went farther than they should have gone. The producers definitely have a say in who stays and who goes. Rock should win, but you never know with this show.
SBriand
I gotta pull for Bonnie on this one. Don't feel right saying that as I have figured her as a donkey for the majority of the season but what I like is that she has confidence. Rock is lacking mucho confidence. Rock is a little more wishy washy than I expected. Bonnie also has the girls and we all know how that went this season. Jules might be the hitch. She is acting like a such a freaking baby it pissed me off.

Do you see all the other losers acting like babies? She is not even really a user, she gets a free ride through Culinary School and an offer to come back and try again. Yet she still cries about it and makes stupid snide comments. Really thought she was different.

So I will take Bonnie.

yeah kinda surprising. I guess one thing could be said with her being kicked off so recent. But yet jen was kicked off last and she seemed fine with everything.

as for bonnie the bad part about her is that you kinda gotta wonder what she did with the producers. I mean she never really seemed to be strong but then kept sliding through. Bonnie almost seems more like an actress than a cook.

So go rock

She knows how to cook. She is the dumb blonde but she has skills, a great palate, and the drive and confidence needed in a head chef.

Rock knows how to cook. He is way too wishy washy and other than throwing little childish hissy fits he does not, or has yet to show any sense of leadership or drive. He is a mouse when it comes to being in control and the person in charge. He also lacks confidence. To be a head chef anywhere you have to have confidence and in the last ep he showed his fear of what Bonnie brings.

I am not rooting for Bonnie, nor am I rooting for Rock. This is just how I see it and why I think Bonnie will win. I won't lose sleep over it if she does or doesn't win to be honest. I think the first season was the only season where the winner was legitimately worthy of the prize to be honest.

ok well for one rock is already an executive chef, bonnie is a nanny who is suprised where she is and trying to make up for lack of talent. Palate, pshaw, she got easy tastes in the first challenge.

As far as rock being wishy washy, he's been letting people hang themselves...and the fear i think is more of a new found respect for bonnie.

Rock wins hands down.

Just because he is an executive chef means nothing. I worked under executive chefs that are like Rock and others that are like Ramsay. The ones who acted like Rock never got much out of any of us like the Ramsay style ones did. Hard to respect and work for a chef who can't make decisions. I don't disagree at all that Rock is not a good chef. Nowhere do i say that. I just don't think he has that head chef mentality that Ramsay is looking for. The last two winners were strong confident people who could run the kitchens and the other opponents listened to them. Rock has never gotten that.

I also don't agree that Bonnie is the best person left. But based on what the show looks for, Rock hasn't shown it. Rock is the same quiet, fly under the radar Rock as he was at the beginning. I will look but I am pretty sure I picked him to win early. Yup, I had him in my top 2. So no need to sell me on the guy.

But looking at what Ramsay and the producers want, looking at who is on who's team, I think Rock is the underdog here.

I will repeat it once more since it seems people think I am rooting on Bonnie, I am not. But I think given her last few performances, her confidence, her drive, her team, and what the producers are looking for, she will win.

Rock has 2 complete donkeys on his team. Rock barely can figure out what he wants to put on his menu, Rock is worried that Bonnie will win, Rock is too wishy washy. Rock needs to get his head out of his ass and just do it. I have disliked the dumb blonde all season. My wife laughed when I said that I think she is going to win because I was pulling for Rock and Jules each and every week but Rock looked like he had already given up halfway through Monday nights ep. That bugs me.

We'll see Monday I guess. Should be a good one.
sealster
Well I watched the finale very anxiously and really wasn't sure which way it was gonna go, which was rare since I've been rooting for Rock the entire time. It was a great episode and I was ecstatic to see Rock take it down! Great show and season although it actually is nowhere near as exciting hearing Ramsay praise the chefs as it is to see him explode. Can't wait for the next season, woohoo for Rock once again!
SBriand
He did much better this ep than last. He definitely deserved it. He got lucky that only Josh was the donkey on his team. If the other dude went wild he may have been screwed. Bonnie did okay but she definitely screwed up the prep which was huge and she has some serious communication breakdowns with her team. Jules can jump right off a cliff though. Sad that she turned into such a selfish, whiny, rude, poor loser.

GG rock.
tealsea
woohooo....WTG ROCK!!!!

would have loved to see Julia win just put a few of them in their place with those constant "she's just a wafflehouse cook" comment, especially melissa (wasn't too sad to see her go)
