I like making it $12 and seeing if villain will shove his (your) dream hand of 222

Do I want to only reraise the minimum with a third player in the hand with the draw out there? If he has a set as well then he's calling a much larger reraise and then we don't even have to worry about the possible drawing hand by the guy inbetween who flat called me. Whadoyathink?

I flop a set like once a month, so I don't want to kill my action.

I like making it $18 or so to chase out potential draws, and it should still keep top pair and a set of 2's in the game. SB could have anything in this hand, including some sort of wierd 2-pair or even a straight flush draw. $18 would also help to define his hand. If he reraises, go ahead and push it.

if your being serious here, this is flawed thinking. in this hand, you should make it at least 20. i think the guy has 22 or K2/K6. do anything you can to get all in on the flop here.

Thanks for the replies guys. The villian who reraised me had been very very loose. I ended up making it $22 to go. Maybe a few bucks too much. A pot sized raise would have been closer to $19/$20. Both guys ended up folding.

Agreed. Don't let past results affect your thinking, you are still around 7.5:1 to flop a set. Please bump this to at least 20.

Its a difficult decision here.

Obv we dont want to go 3 way to the turn and see a heart.

depending on the table and my image, i'l do 1 of two things here.

A - raise to 18-20 like others have said. try and get sb to come over the top, or at least call. and hopefully price out MP if he's on a draw

or

B - which is pretty much like A.

nothing new, 18-20 is perfect in my opinion. don't want the heart draw in the hand and K6/K2/22 are gonna get it all in just like we want.

18-25 sounds golden. Strong hands we beat that are scared shove, and draws take a bad price against our set.
