May Results:QUOTE (Zach6668 @ Monday, April 30th, 2007, 10:45 PM)

With that, in May, I'm going to bonus whore like crazy. Gonna hit up a bunch of the Cryptos, and then play out the stretch on AP.
Gave up on the bonus whoring after only clearing about $350 worth because I decided the games were too tough to bother with, and I figured I could make more money on AP, with their bonus/rb/arp program, as well as having everything go a little smoother based on the softness of the games, in comparaison. Green is complete, red is incomplete. Here's my whoring plan:
- $150 Betsafe @ 5x, ~1800 hands.
- $100 Sun Poker @ 5x, ~1k hands.
- $100 Interpoker @ 5x, ~1k hands.
- $200 Poker Plex @ 5x, ~2k hands.
- $200 Playboy Poker @ 5x, ~2k hands.
- $300 Interpoker @ 5.66x, ~3500-4k hands.
- $100 Betsafe @ 7.5x, ~1500 hands.
- $250 Betsafe @ 8x, ~ 5k hands.
So that's my goal. Add into that 1 BB/100 winrate, and I'm looking for $3500+ over 20k+ hands.
I actually was able to run at 2.38 BB/100 for the month, which is amazing for me, but I played fewer than 11k hands. Details are below. Hands and Results:- Total: 10,679 hands; $2,168.92; 2.38 BB/100
By Limit: - 15/30*: 82 hands; $46.00; 1.87 BB/100
- 10/20*: 147 hands; $568.00; 19.32 BB/100
- 5/10: 400 hands; $440.50; 11.01 BB/100
- 3/6: 6,051 hands; $1,178.61; 3.25 BB/100
- 2/4: 3,999 hands; ($64.19); (0.40) BB/100
By Network: - Cryptologic: 4,201 hands; $20.81; (0.16) BB/100
- Absolute: 6,478 hands; $2,148.11; 3.66 BB/100
*note: all 15/30 hands, and some 10/20 hands were played on a stake, or partial stake, resulting in me giving $80 to my stakers.
Bonus:- Total: $720.00
By Network: - Crypto: $350.00
- Absolute: $370.00
Rakeback:- Total: $496.48
By Site: - Betsafe (Crypto): $65.17
- Interpoker (Crypto): $42.90
- Sun Poker (Crypto): $39.88
- Absolute: $348.53
ARP Value:*note: approximate; valued at 1.5c/pt (redeeming for cash at 200k pts at Elite status).
Grand Total:Comments:May was my second best month so far this year, and I'm happy about that, but my volume has been simply pathetic. 11,000 hands in a month for someone who claims to be a "professional" is pretty sad. I actually only put in 39 hours and 16 minutes in at the tables. This means I made $86.49/hr overall, however, that ignores the fact that I put in countless hours studying the game, reading the forums, etc.
The one thing that I can say to semi-defend my lack of output, is that in May, instead of mindlessly pumping out hands, I think I played a lot more focused game, and concentrated on each hand a little more. I also used incredible game selection, which allowed me to take some shots at slightly higher levels, both staked and on my own.
I also played one tournament, a $50 buyin on AP yesterday, which I slept through the first 30 minutes, then went out shortly after that with AK vs 88 vs 97 all in preflop. AP paid for my entry though via the VIP program, so it doesn't figure into the numbers.
June Goals:June is a bit interesting, as I'm going to be travelling a lot. I've got until June 8th to play some hands at home, but then I'm heading to Toronto and area for my sister's graduation, and I won't be home until June 13th. I should be able to get some hands in there, but I'm not counting on anything.
As soon as I get home from Toronto, I have enough time to get ready for Las Vegas, as I leave on the 15th, and I'm out there until July 2nd. I've got my own set of goals for when I'm down there, but it wouldn't suprise me if I do put in a few hours of online poker.
Anyways, because of all of this travelling, my goals will be somewhat small. I'd be happy with 5k-10k hands in depending on how much I can play when I'm on the road. Since that's such a small sample, it's tough to set a goal, but I'll say $2,000 of online profit as my goal.
The Las Vegas trip will be interesting. I'm hoping to make a bit of a run, but due to the fact that the sample will be too small to get past any sort of variance, my goal is just to come home with as much money as I left with. This just means making enough at the tables to cover food/partying and the condo.
My own personal non-poker goal, is to not play any pit games while I'm down there. I'll leave it open slightly to $10 paigow or whatever if I'm just playing for free drinks, but otherwise, no BJ, no table poker games, etc. This'll be a big test for me, and hopefully all goes well.
I'm also hoping, that if things go well, I can think about getting into one of the $1,500 WSOP events. Even if I go on a good run down there, it'll be a significant part of my bankroll, so I'm also looking into selling off pieces of myself up to 2/3rds of the buyin, at a 1 for 1 price, in any chunk. If anyone is interested, feel free to PM me.
Anyways, I hope everyone has a great month at the tables, whether it be online or at the WSOP or whatever.
