I think its a really hard fight to call, personally Im rooting for Chuck Liddell but I can see it going either way.

Chuck is in a zone and Rampage is a shell of his former self since Vanderlei scrambled his brain twice muay thai style (sp).

While playing @ Casino Windsor last night, I was struck by how much real coverage UFC was getting on the Sports stations. Even the Canadian version of ESPN was covering it in depth. Strange that it gets ZERO coverage here in the States other than Spike TV..

I agree. I saw the SC coverage of this, and was thinking that this seems to be first fight that I've ever seen real coverage of. I don't follow the UFC and have never known when a fight was coming up, and I do for this one because of the coverage on ESPN.

I think alot of the UFC's uprising has to do with how god awful boxing has become. The De La Hoya/Mayweather fight was, I think, the last chance for boxing to make a comeback again in the near future, and I think it fell a little short. OH, and if you watch UFC somewhat regularly, you know what an animal Liddell is in the rematches of guys who beat him already. Liddell by KO early 2nd round.

I think Chuck wins, he is twice the fighter he was since he lost, and he was injured during that fight. Rampage has even said of himself that he has no new skills, and only has gotten a little bit better.

On a side note, I go to school in San Luis Obispo wear Chuck lives, and I see him downtown every once in awhile. The dude even walks like he is a bada_ss. It would cool to see him in a barfight or something and see him kick the living s_hit out of someone.

I love chuck so I want to root for him, but I dont want to get bad odds on him so I might bet jackson depending on what the odds are today. I'm also betting on every prelim fight to make them exciting. I expect to be wasted tonight .

TKOs are much different, I don't remember quinton being KO'd by silva and I know I watched the fight. Irregardless, people are over rating chuck way too much here as Jackson has stood toe to toe with guys who punch harder then chuck and wasn't KO'd. Jackson's style matches up great against chuck. People are citing that Chuck has gotten revenge on every guy who has beaten him, but if you look at the style's of both couture and horn, they play into chuck's game where he can throw looping punches at his opponent using counter punching when the opponent shoots in, Jackson doesn't shoot in all that much and uses his wrestling to set up for giant slams. I do think though that Chuck is catching Jackson at teh right time because IMO Jackson should've had another fight before fighting chuck

another thing about UFC vs Boxing, the best fight tonight will likely be one no one is considering

The Parisyan/Burkman fight was pretty good from a technical standpoint. Not many bombs thrown, but still a good fight. Parisyan handled his bizzznass and I want to see him fight Serra/Hughes winner or GSP next. His stand up is getting a TON better.

Oh...and Joe Rogan is GREAT as UFC's announcer...just being serious.
