Fold to a river bet?

You'll be getting almost 9-1 on the river (4.5-1 for half), so I'd call and hope for a split. He has to have a pretty strong hand to scoop you heads-up. His flop just-call seems to me to be a sign that he didn't flop TOO huge (nut low draw, top pair; nut low draw straight draw; nut low draw, AA, etc).

He has to be scooping you pretty often for this fold to be right.

You're definitely good for one of high or low here enough to call.

fold the flop. you have a one way draw to a non nut hand.

i don't mind the flop bet.

i wanna get heads up with a one way holding.

w/ a pair, second nut low and a bd fd, i definitely don't mind peeling and reevaluating on the turn.

Is this typically standard here? I mean, are we ONLY supposed to be drawing to Nut/Nut?? Seems like this hand has enough ways to win the pot to justify a flop peel, if not a flop bet.

yup. there are a few ways to do this. flop betting is ok, but i might prefer c/ring to gain some fold equity on later streets against better hands.

folding the flop would be bad, imho.

as played you have to see the river.

with this many in, I think I am probably letting this go on the flop. The problem with isolating here is that you are OOP to a better low draw with a very vulnerable pair for high.

you wanted to see a cheap flop, looking for a 2 or hearts, and you missed.

I'd like to think that I should be moving ahead with hands that are at least very good on one side, and hopefully medium or better on the other.

For what it's worth, I misread this board. I thought I had an open ender for high, otherwise I check that flop.

for me to draw to the second nut low in a multiway pot i need a pretty strong high hand to go with it or i need an opportunity to throw in a raise that is very likely to make it heads up.

what about checking here and raising the co if he bets and the bb folds?
