I nearly pre-ordered last July!! I'm waiting until i see it in the shops before i buy. UK based so may have to wait a little longer.

The cards run bad on everyone, its how you deal with these runs, nipping them in the bud and maintaining discipline that sets the good from the not so good.

Do you think that the buy-in for the main event should be increased? If I had the money to enter something like that, I would want at least a shot at winning, which I don't think I would get playing in a field of 8000 players, even the best players in the world are 1000/1 to win, which is big odds for $10,000. It is a massive pay-out of course, but the chances of actually doing well is difficult. But I also think more Omaha should be there. But holdem is the most played game, so its catering for demand.

I would love to sit next to a virtual Mike in stacked! Although not sure I'd enjoy taking a verbal hammering from the real thing though....................................

I'm in the UK. Goodness knows when I'm going to be able to get a copy of Stacked.I believe that the game will struggle to live up to the enormous hype. Basically, my position within poker is that my disposal income at the moment is not enough to be playing at levels where I would see it as worthwhile. Therefore the game is a nice way to sub the lack of professional poker around me. Plus, if I play a few games on a decent AI game then it is worth it as I'll become a better online player because of it. I am hoping by the end of the year to be really clued up and solid. No one has mentioned discounting outs which is important when discussing implied odds. Depending on what your opponent has you could be drawing dead so thats worth considering too.

I voted for Shaun Sheikan because he appears to be a total punk in general. Talks through other peoples hands etc. But if any of you saw Tony G at the Euro Poker Tour going heads up with Surinder Sunar for the title you would see the biggest piece of trash talking, bordering on aggression at the table. It was a non stop barrage that would not be tolerated in America. Anyone see it?

Hi. To what extent do you think becoming solid on one of these sims will help your game? I might buy something like that, I already have DD tournament poker and find it too easy to bump the comp off the pot.
