  2. Seems like slowrolling and the guy seems to be quite an *******, but it's poker and not like you're supposed to be friends with everyone you play against in a casino so *shrug* just do the same thing back to him when he calls you down when you have the nuts.
  3. Oh yea I just realized this LCD is 20" from stars FPP and its max is 1600x1200 my bad, max resolution for CRT 19" is 1600x1200 but need 20" for LCD sorry Cash out some FPP if you have them get the monitor from stars lol. Or go back to 2 CRT's make 4 tabling + multitasking easier.
  4. Your monitor should be fine you probably need a video card, if you're using onboard video then it won't allow you to reach a resolution that high but 99% of 19" monitors out there support 1600x1200 resolution.
  5. Was wondering if anyone else kept track of this and if you do whats you're overall ratio, ROI, and ITM. Was wondering if anyone else kept track of this or if it's just me?
  6. completely depends on your read of the player, if you know he is a good player and capable of using his brain, then you have a few options here. He may know/think you're willing to bet that flop with anything to try to take it down and raise you with his nothing also, but depends how much credit you feel like giving him. I usually try to avoid spots where I'm being forced to make reads on unpredictable low-stakes internet players so I would just fold here since its very early in the tournament and you have no reason to try to make some strong reads here. You know nothing of the player and i
  7. Raising him right there puts him off of your flush and onto thining you had TP or MP on the flop and making him think his Q is good if he has one, on the other end if he limped with Axd then you still have to make the same play to figure out where you're at. You just have to have enough of a read on the guy to figoure out wheather or not you call his all in if he goes over the top of you again. With no read if he went over the top of me again I would probably fold. Either way I think the right way to play it is to raise to figure out where your hand stands, if he just calls you value bet i
  8. What do you focus most on while taking notes on players in NL? What works as the best notes for you, what is worth taking note of, what isn't etc. Do you take notes of the probability of them to fold to a raise on the flop/turn etc.? Just kinda curious how other peoples notes look.
  9. What is the bankroll people around have been playing with for PL omaha? New to the game, been playing profitably for almost a month now but I haven't had a hardcore losing streak yet so I was wondering what people around here use as a bankroll margin. I don't know how bad the swings get for PL omaha compared to SNG's etc. because I was fairly consistant with my SNG play and didn't have too many bad swings. Thanks in advance for the replies.
  10. It's not virtually undetectable to figure out when people are sharing information Pokerstars has a really good way of tracking it actually, basically there are certain situations that set up flags for them and they use that to detect whether or not you're colluding and then keep you from playing on the same table as that person. If you're making pots big for each other they catch onto that one very quickly, and for tournaments etc. if your friend has KK and you fold your AK or AQ etc. it flags you. Then they continue to look at it and they catch on very quickly. I was messing around with a
  11. LMAO this 16 year old kid is HILARIOUS
  12. I've been keeping stats on myself since I started playing poker a couple years ago and for the first year or so I was down, not very much, but I wasn't up. I slowly was evening myself out from there then over the last 9 months I have been winning A lot and have been going at a steady pace upwards. I went from playing SSHE to playing strictly MTT/SnG's and have been doing much better. I still play cash at my ring game every week but the amount won/lost at it doesnt affect much.
  13. Read Skalansky's Tournament THeory book and read the section on THe Improved System and mod that to make it work for you.
  14. depends if they are dicks or not
