Anyone from the forum going to be in town next weekend (March 4-7) for the Head's Up Championship at the Golden Nugget? Also, if anyone has been to watch a major tournament, do you have any advice on how to actually meet some of the players without coming off like a tool? Thanks...

I will be in Vegas next weekend...March 3-7. I just found about about this tournament that will be taped for NBC. It is a head's up tourney with 64 of the top players in the world, including Daniel. Is anyone else going to be going to watch this? And is this type of tournament really able to be a fair litmus test as to the quality of poker someone plays....seems to me it will be a "luck-fest" as it is head's up all the way through. Let me know if you will be there and what you think about this event.

Excalibur is great if you like no pressure and a calm atmosphere. I like the location b/c you are right beside Mandalay Bay, Luxor, NY NY, and MGM Grand. Lots of options for poker and activities. I would reccommend playing really low limits for a few days and if you are playing well, try the larger stakes at the Bellagio for the experience of a lifetime.
