As for the nightlife, you can walk into practically any property and find something to do. Pure at Caesars, Light at Bellagio, Mandalay has a few cool spots - try to make it up to Mixx on the top floor of The Hotel it has a great view of the strip. Also Hard Rock and the Palms have a younger crowd and a number of cool places to hang out. Treasure Island or the "T.I." as they've tried to lure in a younger crowd is cool although its been quite awhile since I've been there. As long as you hang out at the nicer properties you can't help, but find a cool place... just follow the silicon. Hop

I picked the Vegas option. I grew up in Vegas and it wasn't hard to figure out why most the people I went to high school with viewed college as a waste of time. 4 year degree = 30-40k to start. This can easily be made doing bartending, valet, bell, cabana, or dealing just to name a few. Most people I know are making twice that much yet with the joke that is tip compliance they pay taxes as if they made 30. Not a bad deal.

Nice read. Sounds like a fun time. 2-5NL definitely a better game than the 4-8 LHE, but still a big share of donks to go around. By the way where was it that you played?

its illegal for the game not to allow other players to play if they can front the cash. therefore beal likes to take the stakes up to keep others out and hopefully push the pros past their comfort zone.
