  1. I solved this!I just did a google search and it told me the earth is like 4 billion years old, something like that. I know this is true because...well, it's google!
  2. *cough cough bullshit* As long as were making statements and not backing them up... it would be very easy for the IRS to put every poker player in jail. iF that happens, it would likely make finding a game live or online very tough.
  3. The lawsuit has nothing to do with any online sites. You can't just bring up something in court because you want to, the wpt would have to prove that online sites in some way have something to do with this case and from reading the complaint, they don't!I want to give you an example of one of the things they're fighting against here. Lets say you win a WPT event, you are a major player now and there are all kinds of deals for you right? Well lets say that Hustler wants to use your image to promote it's product. Being a good Christian that you are, you decline because you don't condone Hust
  4. DN, I understand what you are saying, but this is where you not being a lawyer comes into play. I agree with what Raymer says in this post and I think you are looking at this issue in such a negitive frame of mind, that you are failing to see the positive outcome that could come from this. Also, you say that this will shed a negitive light on poker, I would like to know in who's mind will this apear negitive? I assume you are talking about the law makers in this country, if that is the case, I wouldn't worry too much about them, they have already let us know what they think about online po
  5. This was a post from Raymer back in FEB. "To anybody who says we are being ungrateful, and who points to all that the WPT has "done for us and the poker world", I say, [censored]. You might as well point to Microsoft, Apple, IBM, and the like, and say "You owe them; without these companies, you wouldn't be enjoying your personal computers, making your lives so much easier and fun. You should not just buy their products, you should give them stuff." The same is true about the WPT. Even if I have benefitted from their existence, I owe them nothing. Of course, they owe me nothing either. But I
  6. you say no duplicate events, are 20 and 23 different?Just curious, maybe I caught a mistake...maybe I'm like the 100th person to ask this
  7. H@££inggol kicks ***, he and a couple of my friends (deadcash & NSXT2) were playing 1/2 NL at the venetian, he was going all in blind and lost a few thousand. It was like pennies to him, good for nsxt2 who picked up a few k. Aside from a stellar poker player, he's a real good guy.
  8. My good friend over at realpoker training Todd Arnold just pointed out that this is Robert Williamson doing this as a joke.
  9. Any fcp'ers who live in vegas intrested in a home game?? Daniel??
  10. Daniel wrote an article about this a long time ago, he used to have "party day" where he played like crazy preflop. I was curious to see what some of the methods the FCP'ers have to deal with tilt?
  11. You've got 11k and MP had around 13k
  12. This is a hand from the recent 100k on Paradiseyou're in the BB with 11k in chips blinds are 300/600, you've got K9 off suit, middle player limps (know nothing about his play) late position limps and SB completes. Flop comes down KJ6 rainbow, SB checks you check (with the intention of a check raise) middle limper bets 1200, it's folded around and you raise to 5k, MP calls!!the turn is a 3. Two questionsWas the check/raise a good idea? How would you play the turn and river? Thanks
  13. Ok, I've been following this silly thread, and this one is simple, so I'm gonna respond for Smash (this may not be a good idea ;-) )He's basically saying the analyzing the play's effectiveness in this situation is absurd because you have a donkey that is willing to push all in with a pair of 2'sNO MATTER WHAT YOU DID, he's going in with t hat junk, pretty much...There's alwyas a donkey willing to push all in with 2's, because he did means the play didn't work?
