This may be a dumb question, but when you qualify for a larger buy in tourney it sounds like you are saying that they deposit the buyin for it in your account. And then you have a choice of whether or not you want to play in it. Is that how it works? Is that the same for freerolls too?

I started playing an online game back in 99 i think it was. World War II online: I needed to come up with a SN. I wanted something that would work like a callsign as well. So I came up with Greenlight, but when I went to type it in the game would not allow that many characters, so I had to shorten it down to Greenlyt. I have been using that since.

I have been going through the same thing as of late. I started playing pp again when they gave me a free 50 deposit to play with. The day before I got that buy in to Party I played in a 7 stud Hi/Lo freeroll at pokerstars and placed 20 out of 3800. I felt pretty good with that so I went to party and played a 10 sng 7 stud hi/lo. I won that one. My first tourny win. From there on out I have had nothing but a string of bad luck or bad beats. Ill admit that I am not the best player but, I was getting beat most of the time on the river when the players should have already gotten out of the hand. S

Sounds like to me you are playing too high of limits for your bankroll....You have to take into account for a run of bad cards...I did a 50 dollar deposit over at Pokerstars and if I would have been playing the 1/2 or 2/4 tables i would have lost it in a few days, due to some bad beats.....In one night i was beat on the river twice by a flush and a straight when i had a set. Sometimes you just cant do anything about it and have to have something to fall back on....So i would try lower limit tables and work your way up to something bigger as your bankroll grows.
