  1. sitting @ 1130 not doing much of anything. Bed is looking pretty good right now.
  2. I'm in again, wife is up north all week, so I can play poker when I'm not supposed to
  3. moved to table 32. holding steady @ 1180
  4. Out in 144. A,T vs Q,J and he gets a runner runner for a straight. Good night all.
  5. In the money, but chips took a hit, down to 6k with 180 players in.
  6. alive with about 12k chips, 30 to go to money
  7. I'm playing the main event, with my party poker garb on, my start day is July 7th. GL to all who will be there, and here's to having a great time either way .
  8. And to give credit where credit is due, the guy made $200,000 coming in 2nd in 2004 at the San Jose Shooting Star..... got 10th in the 2004 pot limit omaha WSOP tourney.
  9. Excalibur. :-) . Play the 2/6 limit tables. Stay solid and you'll walk away with some cash.
  10. is who I beat for my WSOP seat in step 6. He/she bought in for the $2000 while I worked my way up from step 1. My KK held up to his/her 77, but it's style is exactally as discribed in the first post. Very effictive in the steps, but steps isn't poker anyway
  11. I'll be there for the main event, as I won my seat through party poker. Even though Party is offering us a free room, we (my wife and I) will be staying at the Marriott for the first four nights. I figure that's all the longer I will last in the tourney anyway .
  12. The Steps are about luck after a short time. But, if you know that and use it to your advantage, it can be good. Once you get to the recycle amount, go crazy For instance, WSOP step five, rank 1-3 move onto step six, rank 4-5 try again at step five, so, once you make it to 5 players left, go crazy !!!! I actually won my WSOP main event seat two Sundays ago playing steps, buying in at Step 1 and going all the way through for $12 investment. I'll grant you, it's not poker, but it is playable.See you in July at the Main Event !!!!
  13. I have been fully indoctrined to the joys of Krablar. My first hand at step 4 (which I busted out on before re-buying again and going all the way) was my AA vs K,3 diamonds.. he goes all in, I call, he gets two pair and knocks me out !!!!!
