Busted out 20th...3rd in chips to start a hand...folded to button, who raises to $9,000 (blinds are 1k and 2k). Smelling a steal attempt, I re-raise all-in with A6o in the BB (I've got about 52k to his 39k)...he utilizes most of his time bank and calls...turns over JJ...oops!That crippled me to 13k in chips, and quite honestly, I just was so whiped from that lost, I just went all in with 87o on the button with like 5 limpers (blinds now at 3k) and hoped to get lucky...didn't, and busted out. My stamina and adrenaline quickly ran out after that dumb all-in re-raise, and I just lost patience..

If anyone is actually up, I'm doing really well in this $30+3 tournament...(2nd in chips with 32 players left). Playername ndcarplayer. Then again, if you're up this late (now, it's actually THIS EARLY), I'd raise an eyebrow at you...lol.

debate: not raising aa/kk preflop in nlhe

Hmmm...now that I think about it, you're right. The fact of the matter is though, he really had only two cards that could help him at that point in the hand, and for one of them to fall on the board was just sick! lolAt least it wasn't on the river.... -

How about the opposite of slow-playing?Sitting at a Party 6-max (.25/.50 blinds) table last night. I'm dealt AA in late position. UTG raises to $2. Next players calls. Already I'm wetting my pants at the stregnth of this pot. Folded to me. Usually, I'd cold call as well, but I wanted to take this pot down now. I raised to $10. "No way do these idiots call me."I was right. I didn't get called. UTG went all-in for $65!! 8) Without hesitation, obviously, I called. UTG flips over QQ. Flop shows Q. I don't remember the rest of the board...just the sick feeling that overcame m -

I was just gonna post some good ones, but then I realized a lot of ya'll play at Poker Mountain with me...that wouldn't be smart... -
I would be HIGHLY suspicious. As a PP affiliate, I know for a FACT that we have a direct method available to transfer funds into new player accounts to get them started as incentive. They shouldn't have to log into your account to deposit these funds.

As a party poker affiliate, I can explain...One of the options we affiliates have is to deposit money into new player accounts we recruit. As in this case, instantbankroll.com is willing to give you $75 to sign up.The catch is, you have to signup using either their tracking URL or bonus code. This really does cost you nothing, but by you signing up under them, you're "their" player for life. In essence, they get a percentage of the rake you generate for the lifetime of your account. It's in their hope that you get hooked into party poker after creating an account with them, and you continu

Yeah, and you've only been signed up for a few weeks, nerd... -
I heard somewhere (forgive, I don't remember where) that some of these players are staked by the sites. If that's true, I'd doubt they'd care if they lost the money or not...anyone else know?

Man, that poker challenge looks fun...I can't stand some of the arrogant attitudes found at twoplustwo...it'd be sweet to take 'em down -- while representing FullContactPoker too! 8) -
Yeah, I usually at least call with a legit hand short-handed...raises don't mean too much. It's not uncommon to see a raise with Ace-anything.Anyway, I might stop in tonight when things should be a bit more action-packed...around 9 p.m. est. or so.
-
Ahhh, I remember playing with you. We played some short-handed a bit before DN showed up. You've got a solid game dude. 8) I can't really offer advice on the no-limit stuff...I try to avoid no-limit tables like the plague...

Just wanted to say thanks to Mr. Negreanu for coming out and spending some time with us on Poker Mountain. It was a ton of fun getting to sit at a table with a guy that myself and others around here have a great respect for.I was honestly a bit nervous at first sitting at the table ($1/2 no-limit...I try to avoid no-limit tables), but I was able to get a couple of lucky pots and walk away a winner.I've also included a screenshot of one of my wins (much to Daniel's pleasure, I'm sure...he's got to be sick of me by now...lol)I'm sure the pot didn't mean much to Daniel, but bein' a college kid,
