  1. He said that it was early in the game. So why push here? To take down the limps? Then people talking about M here, you already know that he basically told you that he has a super high M (since it is early in tourney we can assume blinds are low and since there are only limps to him is M should be pretty darn high). Just limp, you wanna win a big pot here or fold them later to overs and lose practically nothing.I apologize, I was reading two different threads and mixed the two stories. I still stand by my answer, just had to edit what i got mixed up.
  2. If you put him on AJ like I do, then raise the river; if you arent sure then just call. Of course I think that I would rather have raised the turn here (because there are a lot more draws out there with that 7 of diamonds).
  3. What happened in the Stu vs Ron Stanley hand?
  4. I need some tips on how to play against a table where like half the table is overbetting/overplaying their hands. And calling very loosely. This seems to happen a lot to me in MTTs where people can rebuy. Should I just not play them or what?
  5. I picked up 10 J utg+2 with folds to me. I raise to triple the blind and get two calls. (This is a sng) Flop is A K Q rainbow. I know that one of these guys has an ace, and from the way the button was playing i thought a weak ace (he had reraised hard with AQo earlier) and he seemed to always think top pair was good. So I push allin (which taps both of them), and the button calls me with A2 off. Turn K. River A. And he gets the full house. Was irritated, but oh well crap happens...especially online.
  6. You are getting enough pot odds there to call on a flush draw. The only questions are: "Are you sure you aren't up against a boat or a bigger flush draw?" and "Do you want to gamble?"But as for me, I would not have raised the flop. I would have either folded or called. Then, when the push comes you are back to the questions I posed.
  7. So you are telling him to commit himself to a pot, in which if raised he realistically might be up against a flush? As apposed to taking the free card and seeing what happens on the river? I'm saying that you check here, because he is a call station AND he might have the flush.
