I live an hour from AC and go fairly often (usually the Taj) and I agree with some of the posts. 1/2 and 3/6 limits in the casinos is like playing .25/.50 online. You'll constantly see 7 or 8 players seeing the flop and many players will call to the river with inferior hands. You might think this is good, but with so many going to the river, its often that one of them hits their miracle straight or flush. If you have some experience, and are a decent player, you'll do fine @ 5/10 limit or higher and it will be less frustrating.I prefer the Taj room over Borgata (much bigger, more games, less

Are those the Paulson James Bond chips? Where are you looking to purchase these from?I dont think those are Paulson's. They are from BuyPokerChips.com and I think Chipco makes them. But not sure.

I just picked up set of 600 Archetypes. First I ordered a sample to make sure I liked. I actually didn't like them.....I LOVED them. The weight, feel, design, and colors are awesome. Anyone looking for a premium set of chips should certainly consider these.Check em out:http://www.buypokerchips.com/build-a-poker-table.htm[/img]

The Borgata has 2 every day. Get their early to register. Seating is limited and they almost always sell out. I would get their 2 hours before the tourny begins to register. Here is their schedule:http://www.theborgata.com/main.cfm?Section...Content=play04COtherwise, hop in a cab to the Taj. They have bigger (and I think better) tournies that never sell out.

The antes increased every so often but not sure how often. The entire tournament took 7 hours.pretty good.. no re-buys or add-ons?i prefer freezouts. No re-buys and no add-ons. I try and avoind them

I played a $100 buy-in at the Taj Mahal (AC) this weekend and won it. 269 players and I took 1st and $9,400.What a good feeling! I haven't had too much luck in online tournaments. I always make it fairly deep and often make it to the money, but only one win ($10 buy-in / approx. 150 players / $455 ). I find that live tournaments are much easier than online. Many players are tight and nervous. There are plenty of opportunities to steal pots. I played solid cards all day unless I saw an opportunity to steal blinds / small pots, in which case I became agressive. worked like a charm.Anyone

I'm sure this question has been asked many times but I'm gonna ask it again. Is multi-tabling really a good idea. Here's why I ask:To have an edge in a poker game you must pay attention. Pay attention to the other player's styles, betting habits and patterns, chip stacks, looseness, tightness, etc....I've played 3 or 4 tables at a time and theres no way you can get a real feel for the other players because most of your time is spent jumping from table to table. Do multi-tablers basically just play their cards and rely on "by the book" play and the mathematics of the game?
