question for those who pay bills via online poker...
DpFrydHef replied to ThatPkrGuy's topic in General Poker Forum
The 30-60 limit O8 games at PokerStars are very, very soft. See this these testimonials:http://www.poker-babes.com/poker/games/200...5/november.html(scroll down to Nov. 22)http://www.poker-babes.com/poker/games/200...5/december.html(scroll to Dec. 5)The bad part is that there's usually only one or two of these games going. The 10-20 O8 games may or may not be tougher, but the 30-60 game is golden if you have the bankroll for it. -
serious question about on line poker play

Once, you used too many commas in unnecessary places, thus creating a very confusing sentence.Once, I beat a guy with his own shoe for pointing out my typos...If you're referencing the fact that you have simply done something rather than having done it only one time, you should really say "I once beat a guy with his own shoe for pointing out my typos." The ellipse at the end is also unnecessary, as you finished your thought, and the story doesn't appear to go anywhere. As long as we're being picky about things here, it's called an ellipSIS, you anal retentive grammarian ass. -
wow, you're really paleShe does live in Idaho.

Do you go to USC??I've been a fan since the Charles White days....Yes I'm older than dirt. A good friend's daughter went to school there, kept their season tickets and have invited me to a few games.Just curious.yes sir, i do. Marshall School of Business.Unfortunately, I am also paying unconscionable amounts of tuition for USC, but I'm about 50 feet from you over at the law school.

I, for one, am a big fan of the WPT's final table structure. The more donks who watch that episode on TV and then pick up A2 and call my preflop all-in raise in a full-ring cash game, the happier I'll be.

I read on a 2+2 post that they will soon be adding a bunch of stuff to their FPP store. That might have something to do with the VIP program... who knows?

Increasing the buy-in won't necessarily make it "easier" for pros to win the event, but it might make it more likely that a pro will win it.What I'm saying is, increasing the buy-in would result in fewer players (probably mostly pros), but the players, on average, would have a much higher level of skill than in a 10K event.I think that's how the most prestigious tournament of the year should be... it should consist of the best tournament players in a setting in which skill is the main factor in determining the winner, not luck.Yes, Raymer played very well in the past few years, but he also got

http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poker-foru...ad4a9199743ad34Looks like whoever Slimenem is, he spells Negreanu correctly and chats with someone by the name EDOGN on Stars.Quote from the above link:"who is slimenem? i played ion the stars sunady big tourney and this slimenem was at my table, he was chatting back and forth with EDOGN (lingdren) and was also being bombarded by observers, he would not say his name, but he said he has won major tourneys anyone know?"

Actually, most winning poker players are Democrats, and most stupid fish are Republicans. In fact, it is impossible to be smart, love poker, and be a Republican. This is because Republican politicians are the ones attempting to pass laws that will destroy online poker as we know it.See Sen. Kyl's (R-AZ) bill:http://www.pokernews.com/news/2005/05/sena...r-kyl-again.htm

Also, Vince is the son of Dick Van Patten, who was the poker commentator for ESPN in the mid-90s.

Personally, I think PokerStars should pick him up.They need to get Raymer and Moneymaker off of the tv and replace them with Daniel and Evelyn Ng. Evelyn is already sponsored by Stars, but for some reason they don't utilize her "talents" in their tv spots.

I agree that both aces of spades do look alike. But the spade on the Apollos is a bit smaller. Gemaco takes the cake for having the largest pip on their ace of spades.
-
Those are GEMCO.....They are not that good...for reference.....the Hard Rock in Vegas uses those...so does the Luxor....Sorry but they are not GEMCO they are actually APOLLO if you even looked a lil hard you can see it written on the Ace of Spades in Vade's Avatar... Plus I own an APOLLO deck and thats exactly what it looks like. :-)Actually, they are Gemaco cards. If you look real close, you can see Gemaco across the ace of spades.Go here for more proof...http://www.homepokertourney.com/reviews/ca...iew-gemaco.htm#

confirmed--copag is best.i own two decks of copags and am VERY satisfied.aseemThat's actually only the rankings for the damage test.If you go to the first link you have there and scroll down, there are rankings for all sorts of other criteria like color, graphics, glare, texture, etc.I myself own a set of A-Plus cards and they are dyn-o-mite. The colors are rich and their thickness produces a perfect snap when that river card is dealt.I can't stand the graphics on the COPAG cards. Those squared off edges on the zeros of the 10 card are less than visually pleasing.
