I haven't done Bodog yet, but I just finished Paradise and the games were very soft. I normally play 1/2 but dropped down to .5/1, as most pots at that level are raked and get you a point. I would definitely recommend Paradise, especially for 9,000 PSO points.

Your PT stats look very similar to mine (my win rate was about 2.5BB/100), I did almost the exact same thing and started dabbling at 1/2. I used to think that aggression factor at the 3/4 range were crazy, but then I realized through playing that you need to be at that level to make $$. To track raked hands, go to cashier and click on bonus account. It will launch Internet Explorer to a Party website that shows you all of your pending bonuses and raked hand status. What I do is keep that window open while I play and refresh every so often to check my status.

I just read SSHE and started playing limit about 6 weeks ago and it's definitely both. I read twice before starting and was frankly overwhelmed with all of the subtle concepts. What I first did was to focus on starting hands (I keep the book open when playing) and pot-odds, and counting outs while I was playing. As I got more comfortable, I re-read and I'm starting to implement more of the advanced stuff. You definitely have to play a lot to understand how and when to use everything detailed in SSHE.

With $50, .05/.10 at Pokerstars is definitely the way to go. I started there to learn primarily starting hand requirements (see SSHE) and aggression. I've been playing 0.25/0.50 limit 2-4 tables on Pokerstars and making 3-4BB/100 over about 5K hands. I've seen a couple of significant downswings (-12BB/100), primarily when I go up to 3-4 tables and have action on several at once - I found that I just get overloaded and I don't like it.
