  5. Depends how (un)lucky you are! ;)Case in point:Last Sunday I was in a $5000.00 free roll at a local fav casino.Delt A-A. I made it $1200.00 w/ one caller.Flop: Q-3-JI check, she bets, I go all in..... (I know Im dead after a call, but I can't lay down)She had 3-3!! Full house on the corner, w/ no help for me.LOL
  6. You gonna check out parkers new joint on 99 & 220th? 'Red Dragon'Looks like its going to be really nice!
  7. Anyone had the oppertunity to sit at one of his tables? This guy is a Vegas transplant (dealt final tables for WSOP) and is now in the Northwest dealing poker. What a card this cat is! Ever heard of him? Ive never had so much fun at a poker table.
  8. .........bad beat story time? ;)My local hang out offers a $5000.00 monthly free roll to the top 50 players with the most logged hours. We get the tourney started and I’ve got A-A in late position with blinds at 200-400 (yep, its early) Action folded around to me!! So I make it $1500.00 to go (Id like a bit of action) one caller. Flop Q-J-3 rainbow. I check, she bets $1,000.00 and I move in....She turns over 3-3! Damnit!!!! ;)Oh well.... no help either.
  9. A buddy of mine just hit the BB jackpot at parkers! Lucky SOB!!!Ill have to look for you at Parkers though. 8-16?
  10. <---- Another Emerald City Native.I was in Vegas in February and noticed the games during the day were very soft. (as are most of the games in our area at any given time) I'd play a few different rooms during the day, (I took lots of money from the stardust players btw) and then head over to Bellagio in the evening to play with the locals / crazies! I had lots of fun, paid for my entire trip and came back with double the BR I went down with.BTW, what rooms are you playing at here?
  11. Either way you're screwed...He's not going to lay down pocket Aces....
  12. Just be thankful you didn’t loose that much money!Hand I observed yesterday: 4-8 B&M game.7-way action capped pre-flop: K-7-3(I was not involved, but this was a very loose game)Check, bet, raise, re-raise, cap.(Now down to two players after the raise - re-raise)Corner: 3Bet, button raises , callRiver: 3bet, raise, re-raise, capbutton holds K-KCO turns over A-3 off!!!! THAT is a bad beat. CO was drawing to a one outer and hit it! WoW!How he ever called 16 pre-flop is beyond me, then 3 betting the 3? LMAO!To make matters worse, the casino offers hourly high-hands at $100.00 per hour if your
  13. So that would explain capping the flop???? And calling a raise preflop?? This guy was not calling every flop, He overplayed his hand real bad I actually thought that he had hit a set on the flop, I had raised him from the button earliar he was BB and he folded.Next time this situation happens maybe I should put the other player on 2 wild cards :roll:Its possible! I’ve called capped flops with connectors (with a large field) and busted huge hands....I see this happen everyday. You played the hand the best you could. However, with the above flop holding top set, in first position to bet, I would
  14. He could have had 4-6...betting on a draw, and hit it on the corner.Ive seen this everyday! I will play low connected cards with a large field.... These are monsters if you hit!
