Just a quick question to those who know...What hotel did pokerstars offer to WSOP qualifiers last year, and if it was worth it... or should I book my own hotel... I don't really want a dingy hotel.Thx in advance

nothing... too many people fell into the hype... I never understood why... adding old veterans who can't play defense worth a lick plus making the wosrt deal in off-season (Gonchar does not deserve that money in the new cba, not even close) does not make you a contender... Obviously they were gonna improve but not by strides i didnt have them getting into the playoffs...

i actually think the northwest has the toughest division in all of hockey... even though they are all playing pretty mediocre right now... i think everyteam in the northwest will make the playoffs with calgary/vancouver battling for top spot in the west

The marcel luske vs david troung at 04 WSOP is slightly different than what you guys are suggesting here.Troung raised preflop with KK, luske i think 2 to his left re-raised with AJ not AK... Troung then reraised... Luske then says something in the lines of... you have kings i guess my AK is no good... but he only had AJso no not really a good laydown at all more like an easy laydown

I can't speak for all these other young players... But I am 22 years old... and I am a regular in the $40-80 game in my local casino... I do not have rich parents... I am an accountant that makes a modest salary... My other income comes from live poker... Unlike most young players I do not play online much compared to live poker, I have worked my way up the limits... You say you cant fathom losing $500 a night in poker... I currently play on PP and well the tourney structures tend to be an all in crapshoot at the end. Which poker sites have the best small and big MTT's with very good blind structures. Any advice would be great thx.

Im from vancouver, bc, does anyone know of stores that sell kem cards. Or if not any very high quality playing cards??? I rather not look online, but if there is none that sell nearby i will have to... thx in advance
