again I go with the Vegas lines on Futures..They are top 7 in World Series odds...Houston is by far the worst team in baseball

I think that has a lot to do with Yankees fans and their betting, than it does as a true favourite. The lines are skewed towards betting patterns, not just strictly based on odds of wins+losses.

Also, I had the 2nd account. I still have it, its actually become my bet365 account, I never had one before you guys. (was on bowmans)
Anyway, that one was the Green Eggs+Ham account. lol

lol great timing, Jonah Keri writes about the Jays struggles in 1-run games:

http://www.si.com/ml...oyals-blue-jays

Also a concern...with Cecil's ERA now over 5 and Aaron Loup still not very good, the Jays basically don't have a left-handed pitcher in the bullpen. That could be a real problem in the playoffs.

I heard Loup was doing well at triple A. I hope Cecil snaps out of it, amazing how a stupid freak injury happens, and he hasn't been the same since.

Speaking of juiced balls 18-9 score today Angels vs Reds!

In other news

5]Danny Valencia and Billy Butler were involved in an altercation in the Oakland Athletics clubhouse that possibly resulted in an injury that kept Butler sidelined over the weekend, according to a published report.

5]The San Francisco Chronicle reported that Valencia and Butler scuffled Friday night. Butler sat out the next two games against the Chicago White Sox because of nausea and vomiting, according to A's manager Bob Melvin. The players' beef arose, the Chronicle reported, after Butler told a representative of a shoe company that Valencia was not wearing the cleats he claimed he was.

5]Butler has struggled since signing a three-year, $30 million deal with Oakland before the 2015 season; this season he's hit four home runs while batting .286. He was teammates with Valencia on the 2014 Kansas City Royals. Valencia is batting .302 with 15 homers in his second season in Oakland.

5]One former and one current teammate of the pair seemed to side with Valencia in this squabble.

Well, keep irrationally holding on to archaic rules based on obsolete technology and status quo, and we'll probably keep going there.

We keep these rules solely to trigger your irrational anger. We would change it, but I find it fun to listen to you lose your sheeeet.

He sent me an obvious form email that had zero to do with my one sentence email I sent him. If you can't answer a simple email then I don't know what. I'm personally tired of running around town holding people's hands. If you want to make $ take one second to actually provide competent customer service.

Copy paste of my question.

Can I get a ball park figure on the $24,470 2016 Altima SR. 36/10k lease? Nothing down. Thank you for your time.

His response C&P

My name is PH and Thank you for your interest in a new Nissan Altima and for choosing Suburban Nissan of Troy as your preferred dealer.

The 2015 Nissan Altima SV has a starting MSRP of $22,300, up to $3,775 total savings off of MSRP, 0% Financing available and has a starting lease price of $199 a month with $999 down. We also are including 2 years free Maintenance!!

***Must qualify for all applicable rebates

To schedule a test drive, please reply back to this email with a day or time or call the direct line below

He didn't read my email. He saw Altima and did his thing. I didn't write some long convoluted question filled with extraneous crap to confuse him. I specified which year, model, package, zero down, lease term. The only hit he got was it was an Altima. He's batting better than Ford I guess.

He then sent me a follow up a few hours later asking in a shitty way why I haven't responded to him.

Ford has received 2 emails from me. I received one reply that was blank and tried again And got a form letter that had zero to do my email. Asking about a focus ST and got an email about f150 deals. Went to the actusl dealer and after 20 minutes trying to get a salesman with no success

I simply have no patience for people who provide a service for a lot of $ not taking the time to do even halfway decent work. sorry if I expect more when I'm thinking about handing your company $10k or so. I'm old now. Old people don't tolerate this shit. ;)

It's not just car dealers. Anytime I need house work done it's like pulling teeth to get decent service. Half never call back, some come to get an idea what needs to be fine then never send quote or return calls. Yet people bitch about how they need more work because the economy is so bad. I have $ to spend. Can I just get half of your attention?? Come on now.

If he made a mistake it was still lazy and not someone I want hand that much $ to. Still no reason to argue with me. Should I not have responded to the email Nissan sent me? Maybe not but its sent for a reason is it not? I probably would have ignored it if he didn't send a curt email asking me why I never got back with him. He made a mistake then got pushy. Oh well. I blame my age and being Angry Steve. He'll survive. Maybe he'll learn to read a simple email. ;)

Fair enough. The only downside I can see the side bets is that it might affect the overall market for players, since a team trying to win the survivor pool might also be in the hunt to add players, driving the market higher than it would be ordinarily for teams stocking up for playoffs.
Or a team like Swackers, having sold off his rentals in November, goes back and trades for rentals in January because he is on a Survivor run, and then once eliminated on Jan19th, sells them right back off again at the deadline. If you're a contender, this may inflate or deflate prices arbitrarily during the times you are trying to trade. And if you're the guy who plays him within those 4 weeks of his survivor run, well, games get affected to, just like a team that is not allowed to tank because it affects the games.
I dont think any of this is a big deal, and its highly unlikely to happen, but I just like to think out loud about things.

Put a decent sized bet on Marco Rubio at 3.25 (on bet 365). I just can't see the Republicans letting Trump win this thing. Cruz just isn't likeable. Rubio is my guy.

Trump or Cruz will win Iowa, but then after that, I think Rubio will win New Hampshire.

Is the bet for President or Republican nominee?

First overall in the AHL.

Heady days, friends. A certain NHL team from Toronto should take some notes: THIS was a rebuild.

We tried euro pumpers (smaller) in the 90's. They were an unmitigated disaster. We are the fourth largest FD in North America with huge call volume. Those trucks get destroyed by the work volume). We can't even use regular pumpers with light duty engines and transmissions, we run them into the ground (tried THAT in the early 2000s)
And over 90% of the fire department budget is labour costs. We run with shitty equipment, lowest quality gear of any major FD, and dramatically understaffed. ( the downtown core and the vertical city it contains has grown by over 300,000 people since 1990, yet we've actually cut staffing to the FD. ) There is the added factor of the delayed response caused by arriving at a high rise not being the same as arriving at the actual fire. Sometimes it takes us 10 minutes sometimes to find the source of the call once we arrive. We are truly a disaster waiting to happen and that is not hyperbole. We are hugely understaffed and under equipped. Our aerial ladder trucks run with 3 FFs. Chicago and NYC run their ladders w 6.
To add to the issues, most city councillors love speed bumps and other traffic slowing road segments. They slow us down tremendously, and are really tough on the trucks.
By all sources that ARENT city council, the Toronto fire service is understaffed and under equipped, and that's the truth. I told my wife, if anything ever happens to me on the job, sue the city: they are so negligent when it comes to the fire department, it's crazy. They are playing a game of roulette with staffing, and eventually it's going to come back to bite them. The national fire protection act MINIMUM response standard is 13 firefighters on scene in 8 minutes 90% of the time. That's the MINIMUM. We achieve that standard response time just barely more than 80% of the time. FDNY hits it 98% of the time.

The Steelheads continue to surprise me. I can't fight them off. Gonna be a tough finish.

I still expect Dale to make a run. Daniel seems to be too far back for now.

Last year Dale won as the #3 seed. That's the plan.

I have a better record that Steelheads. Not sure why that doesn't factor into the tiebreakers in any way.

13-4-2-0 is better than 13-4-1-1. The former has 4 losses, the latter has 5.

Read the rules. They are clear. Head to Head was tied. Head to head +/- was also exactly tied! The tie-breaker as listed on the website is total +/-. If you had an issue with that BEFORE it solely affected YOU, I imagine you may have wanted to convey that BEFORE the season started! Otherwise, it just sounds like you need some cheeeeeeese with all that whine! Shall I perhaps suggest a succulent, aged, and fermented DICK CHEESE PIZZA!!!!! Haha :-)
