  1. I use poker tracker for online and I have a simple excel sheet that combines my live play with my internet play.
  2. So is it 2000 hands per situation? Did you use poker tracker to track then run a query against the database? Are these games you were watching or involved with? Questions Questions Questions. I doubt the validity of the results.
  3. I did recieve that issue King of the Party, That issue was my first one since I subscribed. It bothers me that i can read almost half the magazine online prior to getting the issue. You would think they would prioritize getting issues to paying customers prior to posting on the website. They would only need to delay a couple fo days. Either way I sill like getting the actual magazine.
  4. Inside party poker go to the menu item for My Account , Then go to My Accounts Website. On that page that opens up there is a link to check your points.
  5. To inport hands that are observed go to the auto import screen for party poker (in poker tracker) go to the observed hands tab, you need to make sure that the check box on the Do not import observed hands is un checked. I believe that party poker stores them in the same way they are stored for hand you are playing but Poker tracker will ignore them untill you uncheck this option. After hands start to be imported then you can open up game tracker and start seeing the stats for tables that you are watching while you are playing at others.hope this helps.
  6. I play in a lot of local tounaments and home games and I run accross this same situation all the time. I have found it best to just play ABC poker. Its hard to bluff someone who cannot see a potential hand on the board that could beat their top pair. Dont waste effort trying to out play someone that wont even know it. You will find a few that back down from agression but not many. Pick on the tenative ones but remember they get good cards occasionally and dont know how to bet them correctly. The other thing is you can open up your game a little especially in the early rounds. By playin
  7. I know these questions are supposed to stimulate our thought process and create open discussion. So there is usually a twist and what appears to be the obvious is not neccessarily the correct play. There are a couple of questions that I would consider. How much of a stack does my opponent have. How much time till this level of blinds increases. (Even if i lost half my stack the blinds are still reasonable that I can make it back) The large bet on the turn appears to be a either a bluff for the flush or perhaps over betting to protect top pair or lesser hand from a straight or flush draw
  8. You didnt rub salt. Its all good. The hand didnt even make me mad. (I drank a beer shook it off and immediately went to the poker room) Made me feel silly for being so arogant with my own holdings that I faild to realize he had a genuine hand and that it improved greatly. My read at the end that I was beat was correct. I should trust my instincts more but even if I folded the last bet my stack was pretty much toast. Heck even if he raised pre flop I probably would have still lost a lot of checks after i got my trips as i probably would have called a single raise from the button with a mid
  9. You are correct may not be as bad as someone catching the only card in the deck that can save them to win the hand. But it sure felt bad at the time. If it were only one hand in a cash game or SNG i probably would not mention it at all. But the circumstances and bad timing cost me the hopes of winning 1.5 Million. It was a learning experience that I wanted to share. Thanks for your input.
  10. PPMIV Cruise Tournament day 1 somewhere in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Mexico. Aprox. 6-7 hours into the big event Blinds are 600/1200 playing at the 1200/2400 level. I am on the button with Pocket 7's. The cutoff seat limps in I call and the small blind completes the bet and the big blind checks. Flop comes up 6,7,2 SB checks BB checks, cutoff seat bets, I raise, blinds fold and the cutoff re-raises me and I cap it. The table had been loose aggressive all day. The player I’m up against had seen several pots to the end with only A high. People were seeing the flops with all kinds o
