would it bother anyone else if you have a-k suited in the hole, and in a no limit game, you make a raise 3x's the pot...and someone calls with 3-5 suited? they ended up flopping the wheel, and i ended up getting 2 pair on the aces and kings...would that bother anyone else that the call was made? knowing the raise was to push hands like that out

uhhh thats what a mechanic does. he fixes decks. smash, you taking or laying?i meant pregame...where he set it up...not where it was rigged on the spot...it takes no mechanic to put the cards in place before the game, they do it when there turn to deal comes around and try to get away with it

the dealer was no mechanic...he rarely plays...the only way cheating would have occured would have been on a rigged deck before the game...i dont think he would even have an idea to deal off the bottom without getting caught

yeah, i usually take a good bit of change out of the people i play with early, and play tight the rest of the night

i've got Ace and Ace in the pocket, i raise 30 dollars with the blinds at 5-10, about 3 times the pot...it pushes everyone out but one guy...the flop comes ace-jack-7 , i'm in position, he checks, and then i check...the turn is the ace , so this time he bets 50, i assume its on the flush...so for another 20 more i go all in...i'm all in for a 100 in a home game...he calls, flips over king-queen ...so for the win, he needs the 10 , and guess what, i was rivered...and beat with 4 aces and lost 100 dollars in the 3rd hand of the night...needless to say i bought back in and worked abother

I recently lost with 4 aces in one of the worst beats in possibly the history of poker...I am curious if anyone else out there has taken a loss with quad aces as well. I only wish it had been in a casino, because the bad beat jackpot would have made up for it, but it was in a home game. If you want the details of how the hand played out, just ask.
