  1. Finally aquired SSHE today after waiting forever to finally get it. I know this book is a limit poker book and I was wondering if the post-flop play that is recommended in the book would be way to aggressive if one tried to use it in a NL game. My NL play now is a pretty tight game and I've been wanting to become more aggressive. I didn't buy the book for that reason (I'm trying to get started in limit) but was wondering if much of the post flop play would be applicable to NL. Thanks
  2. Thanks for all the replies. After thinking about it some more, I was wondering if it was more like this. In cash games, they play tighter in regards to starting hands, but they play those hands with the kind of aggressiveness that is seen in tournaments. Can anyone confirm/refute this idea?

When pros sit down at their bread and butter cash games, the games where they play at the top of their level to put food on the table, do they play with the kind of aggression that we see and read about in the tournaments? Is Phil Ivey really making outlandish bluffs with the same frequency he does when he is facing rising blinds in a tournament? When DN sits down at the $4000-8000 mixed games, is he raising with 6-3 and making the kinds of plays we see him make in tourney play? I think it would be incredibly interesting to see a top level ring game being played and how each of the players
  4. I dig listening to jazz music when I play. It's cool and mellow which helps keep me on an even keal and because it has no words, it allows me to concentrate on the other players at the table rather than the lyrics.

Hey all--first post here...So me and my friends are sitting around talking about these books that are supposed to be coming out from Danny and Gus in the near future and how we thought they would effect our playing and the play that we will sure enough be surrounded by when they come out.
