Really? I e-mailed them asking that and they said I had to set up a new account. And since I made my original deposit via a bankwire and don't have much disposable cash, I just didn't bother.

LOL. The whole point of my post was to mention this was at InterPoker / cryptos, but I seemed to have completely forget that.
-
Yeah, you're playing a -few- too many. For NL, you probably want it more like 25-30%.
-
I've been playing the PL Omaha Hi tables lately (at InterPoker / cryptos) and they're crazily soft. I play the .50/1 tables and at least 1 table (sometimes 2 or 3 during peak hrs) usually has an avg. pot of around $60-$90 (seen a pot hit $740 the other day) and anywhere from 60-80% flop percentage. The higher tables are similarly juicy. Anyone else know of any other REALLY soft PLO games (ie. softer than Stars, which is still pretty soft).

So, I've really been getting in to MTT's lately and in my last 3 I've made the final table in each (2 $11 limit rebuys + 1 $11 NL).Tonight's one was the $11 NL and I'm at the final table (very first hand of the FT) and I'm one of the two shorter stacks, when I get KQo in the UTG+1. I raise it double the big blind, which is half my stack at that point, and it gets folded around to the big blind, who has about avg chips, and he calls. Flop comes down KK5. I'm thinking, "Awesome, I'm doubling up right here". I don't even get a chance to push in myself, the big blind makes a raise that's more

This shit just happened to me on the Stars $11 limit rebuy final table.Chip leader cost me a few hundred dollars because of his idiocy.

I love 'em. I play them in NL tourneys all the time, never in cash games though (I play limit). -
No comment.

Stars usually have $39 (or $3+r crapshoots) satellites to their $350k that are like 1/6 or 1/7.
-
Yeah.. I just came across that the other day.I thought it was something I didn't know about all along, so I didn't say anything.

Stars is actually 10% (5+0.5).

That's a very co-ordinated flop/turn, if someone re-raises me when that J hits, I'd immediatley tighten up and just call til the river. Yeah, you may still have the best hand and not make as much as you could, but it's better than losing more than you have to. Personally, I never cap without the nuts, unless I've got notes on the guy that tells me he's an idiot.

I didn't really think the 300x BB 'rule' for ring games was neccessary either, but then I had 150x BB downswing and realize why it's suggested, and ahd to drop limits in the progress. Sometimes a really bad swing does hit you, I'm guessing it just hasn't for you yet. While the lure of more money is always tempting, I'd stick to the 30x.

If it's great for you, why be tight and not front $20 for a year?
