  2. B.J Penn gave up like.... I can't go away chrozzo
  3. Thanks for the reply jester, makes a lot of sense to me now as he had two chances to hit a spade whereas I think the odds I quoted would be if villian smooth called and turn came a blank ( or he was drawing to one card ). I think I calculated it right if it had been a turn situation however it would be 9/46 but I guess im not quite sure how to calculate the chance of hitting when their are two cards remaining unless its 9/47 = .19% X 2 (chances) = 40% ?
  4. I guess im new to the game and dont really understand this concept BaseJester, would you mind explaining it more more detail ? I think your implying that he has 2 chances to hit his flush (turn and river). But I still dont think it changes the fact that he is 4.1:1 to improve his hand
  5. I think this is an easy fold. All the hands you put him on beat you and I think at least AQ or AK is out there in which case you'd be better off against AQ as you won't have to worry about the Ks for AK. Anyways your 2 pair outs are gone imo accord to the action. Which leaves with you a fd assuming that its not drawing dead already. 9 spades left out of 47 cards = 9 winners outta 47. 9 winners : 37 losers. Which equals approximately 4.1 to 1 (again, assuming your spade draw is still good). The pot odds are laying you $59.95 to win $94 im pretty sure. Which is as you said approximately 1.56:1
  6. TrueAce13; so what did you do? did you check behind? I'd like to know what villain had =x
  7. This. and defending blinds isnt that big a part of cash games but if you do sense he is raising a lot on the button to take your blinds reraise preflop instead of giving him a chance to hook on flop with his wide range. In both situations you just called his preflop raise and tried to beat him OOP when you could have gotten a lot more info about his hand preflop by raising or take it down right there.
  8. Well with the straight and flush draw on the board when he raise called on the turn that should have been an indication that if the river does comes the "scare card" 4c its no longer a viable move to use it as a play, it should have been a scare card for you; not a card in which it looks like a good play. maybe if it wasn't a club in which case you'd still be beat but its much more likely for you to be beat by the flush in this situation imo.
  9. Villian probably would have reraised on turn instead of smooth calling with Q10 with paired board and flush draw out there. And then when the flush was made on river he wouldn't push allin like that OOP I don't think.
  10. maybe you should try to move up to .10/.25c. I recently moved up to these stakes and find it a bit easier to play position poker as there are a 'FEW' less donkeys and your cbets will work more when their suppose to (less calls when opp has Q4os on T high board etc) Unless of course your bankroll doesn't support it.
  11. I'd call. If DN only folded KK twice in his career that should be an indication of how often you should fold that hand. Once was a mistake and the other was on a very very good read. Im not basing your decision on daniel's KK experience but if you have no exp with this player you should probably call. Only way you lay down here is if you have an excellent read. Which you don't.
  12. pretty scary statement which is having me wonder if i wanna be a atheist anymore. Never seen it make more sence. thanks no neck
