these guys sound like a bunch of bitches. Personally if it were me i would continue to play good poker (probably not my best poker, but not blatantly shitty poker) and be a continuous winner. If you enjoy their company that is.When i go to friends of friends places to play and dont like the people i turn into "frank the tank" and just start downing beers. Hopefully still winning!

Thats why i said i'd call later in the tournament. The first hand of the tournament is pretty meaningless in the grand sceme of things. You can afford to lay this down. The keyword i used is "didn't care" when talking about the buyin money. I think pros lay this down at the first hand of the WSOP as well.

i fold this everytime, you are out of the tournament way more times than you're chipleader. If it was late in the tournament when chips are worth more then i might call.If i was rich and played in every big buyin tournament and didn't care then i might call

well got 36th with the slight modification i made with your help.i'm not happy with 36th but i am happy with the fact that i played really well for 3/4ths of the tourny. God did i play horribly that last quarter :PAt least i learned how to play the first Quarter

i will try this today. I've played in a handful and placed in 1.. (insignificant placing). The 1 being when i was at a table with some guy that must have rebought at least 30 times.

what is your strategy? I've played about 5 and havent cashed.Do you rebuy right away and start with 3000?
