  1. I always raise the pot if it's a hand i'm going to play anyway and it hasn't been raised in front of me. Granted, it could leave me open to a re-raise after they figure out that I never limp. However, it creates a great sense of agression from you and it also keeps your opponents guessing as to what you have. If you play 7-8s the same way as A-A, how are they going to know which flop hits your monster? Yes, the EV of some hands is much lower, but I'm able to pick up enough pots with continued agression and good post-flop play that I wouldn't have been able to otherwise. Oh and I'm speaking in
  2. Heck, I see mid-30's all the time, sometimes higher, when I've been playing 1-2 or 2-4 NL on Bodog. Games are actually pretty tight post-flop, but a lot of people will call a 3xbb raise with crap. They just want to see the flop and will fold if they don't hit it.
