  1. Yeah the only thing that got me thinking so long about it was the fact that I laid down a hand and showed earlier.Funny way the hand played out too because her bet of $100 was a total string bet that I called out but the dealer let it slide with a warning. The bet would have only been $50 and I probably would have called the $50. Is this wrong? Does bet size not matter as long as villain is solid and I should have laid it down if it was $50 or $100? EG Spew?
  2. Exactly what I did and he tabled A 9 Os FTW. :(I don't think there was any way to get away from this hand after reading these posts and realizing how shallow I was.If deeper do you think the hand plays differently / any chance of getting away from this?
  3. This is the line I took. I called the flop bet then led the turn for $35 when the Kd rolled off.Villain QUICKLY mucked A 10 face up and shot me a dirty look .My reasoning was normally donkbets confuse the hell out of opponents which leads them to simply call down. This being my first hand @ the table I thought this had a high chance of success, alas it wasn't. Should I have checked the turn and let the villain hang himself some more with a bet so I can pop the turn or is donkbetting/leading generally the best play to extract value? RR the flop really wasn't an option for me as I felt the board
  4. Villain was a pretty solid regular, doesn't make many moves. I thought about this for awhile because I folded AK faceup (correctly, she showed top 2) to same villain on an A Q 7 4 2 board when she shovelled the river. In this hand my thinking was there is no hand that does this that I beat other than MAYBE KQ suited or air, and eventually I mucked it face up. She flashed me her 88 before she mucked them; thus I made the right lay down. My thoughts were perhaps I could have played it differently on the flop by raising her min raise thus getting more information but also running the risk of gett
  5. 1-2 Live @ Rama.First hand at table came in as BB. Effective Stacks:Hero - $200Villain - $500Rest - between $100 and $250 max. Hero is BB with 2h 4s.4 Players limp to villain on button who limps, SB completes, Hero checks.Flop: 4c 4h 10d Hero bets $8, folds to button who raises to $22, SB folds, Hero??? I want to get maximum value for my trashy trips. Villain in this hand is a solid player who grinds out a living @ Rama. At this point im putting him on a 10 or a mid range PP. I know what I did in this hand and it didn't work out the way I had wanted it to (didn't get the value I was looking fo
  6. 1-2 NL Live @ RamaStacks:Hero - $ 150ishSB - $ 800+ Villain in this hand is SB rest are irrelevant.SB hasn't shown down a hand yet but has been building his stack by (seemingly) shoving A LOT and winning raised pots in this way.4 limpers to Hero on Button with AcKd - Raise to $16, SB calls, BB calls, 1 limper Calls. Flop:As 8h 9h Sb Checks, BB Checks, Limper Checks, Hero bets $45, SB Shoves, folded to Hero who ???? Easy fold? Easy Call? Note that villain does like to shove a lot however I've never seen him check raise shove prior to this.Critique welcome.
