Just got back from Vegas a week ago. Been there 4 other times in last 5 years.Im no expert on the pools, but the Rio has a nice pool. Harrah's has a pool that I did not find until the last day I was there, but it was very smalll. (Its located on the 2nd floor.)For poker rooms, MGM rates as my favorite as well. Theres plenty of action, a nice mix of games, just dont play the SNG's...the structure is horrible. Harrahs card room is a great set-up and the best service, but usually they only spread $3-$6limit and $1-$2 NL. Players seemed much tighter as well. Ceasars and the Mirage both had

I think you had to call the bet on the river, though I would not have done so happily. The problem you had with this hand, is that you did not bet strong enough earlier in the hand. I forgot what you bet preflop, but I dont believe it was a pot sized raise. Then when you flop top set, on that scary board, bet pot again, to make people pay to draw out on you. When the turn comes a blank, but makes a second flush draw, its time to bet pot again, and hope to take the pot down there. There are just oo many scare cards that could come on the river.

I am not sure since I have not played yet this year. After last year I went back and looked over my wins and losses, and realized that I was losing atoub 25% of my live game profits online. So I told myself I would stick to live games this year, until I was up over 10K.

Last year I played a lot of PP's small rebuy tournys. During that first hour, my goal was to get to 7X the starting stack or larger, and then play solid big stack poker for the rest of the tourny. The ability to rebuy once you push all in, even if your not called CANNOT be overlooked. To take advantage of this paly I would overbet my strong hands preflop, hoping to get heads up with someone, and then if I hit my hand at all (top pair, or strong draw) I would push all in and rebuy. If they fold, fine, I took a small bit from them, and bought another 1K in chips. If they call, many times

Are home sessions usually end at 6a.m. Because that is when the local McD's opens for breakfast. while not a fan of normal McDonalds, I cant get enough of their McMuffins and hashbrowns after a twelve hour session.

How many people seeing the flop in your No Fold'emgame? Manytimes two small pair will lose if there are5 or more players chasing to the river, unless you boat upI dont think you can fold it, but I would not raise with it unless it was 3 or less players, or if the turn comes and noone else is betting -
While there is no B&M Casino in Madison, thereare NL tournys almost every night at various barsMost are $25 entry fee ranging from 20-75 players.
