Here's another "scary story" posted by a different person in the 2+2 thread..."i had a similar run in with poker room last and i'm still trying to get almost 70k from themI cashed for approx 33k in one of their big weekend tourneys. Practicing great bankroll management I instantly jumped into 10/20 NL. After running insanely good (up to 70k) I decided to cash out because I knew I was in over my head and just running crazy good. Requested cashout to neteller, denied. They said it was too much and I had to request a check. Requested a check, came a month later, tried to deposit it and it bounced

rather win wsop main event or $50k horse event?

I find it hard to believe someone could intelligently make this statement with no real idea as to the number of entrants or the payout structure of the 50k event. The part I find hard to believe is that you actually care whether or not rogerwilco believes there's going to be more money in the Main Even than the 50K H.O.R.S.E. event. Take a step back and ask yourself "Do I really give a fu*k?". This is my first post, because I usually can't find anything I give two sh*ts about to take my time to post. It's self-righteous, arrogant posts like the one above that ruin FCP threads. To answer the q -
A question for Chip_and_a_Chair:Do you really consider 32s a suited connector? I see how the suited-ness of it is alluring. You're looking for the flush, which is gonna end up being pretty crappy (a flush nonetheless). However, people also play them for their straight-drawing ability. However, 32s has very limited options when it comes to drawing to a straight. The only straight to draw to is if the flop came with 4 5. This is opposed to a 78s which could draw to a straight with a 9 10 or a 5 6 on board. As for flopping 2 pair or a set, you can make an arguement that then you should start

I hate to tell stories of my bad beats, but I don't think I'll be playing KK for a while. The last time I played KK I got beat by QJ after moving all in on a flop of Q high only to be turned by another Q. Anyway, thats not quite as bad as what happened to me with my Cowboys tonight. I'll try to recreate it as best I can.I am playing .25/.50 NLHE at a non-descript site. I have $30 at the table. I am dealt KK in the BB. UTG calls the .50 and it folds around to the SB. The SB has been overbetting most of the pots he takes down (for example, he bets $10 into a $2 pot). SB raises to $2.50.

I'm looking for a catch-all list of statistics, pot odds and such for texas hold 'em. For example, if I have 10 outs to make my hand on the flop, what kind of pot odds do I need to justify calling. If you know a potential source for the actual numbers or even some formulas for calculating pot odds please let me know. Thanks
