  1. Other: "Action" Dan Harrington makes 3rd straight final table
  2. I agree JJ is a tricky hand. Can someone give me advice on this hand:In a tournament last night a guy in early position raised to 3x blinds for about 240 chips. I was in the small blind with JJ (about 1700 chips left) and I decide to just call the raise, everyone else folded. Flop comes 3 low cards like 943 rainbow. I make a bet of something like 400 and the other guy then goes all in for about 2200. I decided he must have a set or higher pair like QQ, KK, or AA and folded. Was I correct to fold here? and should i have played it differntly preflop? thanks.

Orioles are my team. We have a solid lineup this year. I"ll also be watching some Nationals games since I live outside DC.
  4. They have the best software and tourneys in my opinion, but the competition is tougher than most sites. However you do get to play with the pros, which is pretty cool.
  5. I wasnt in that tourney, but i'm pretty sure i've played on there with you before, my screenname is BigMonkey on Full Tilt. congrats on the nice payday.
  6. I don't play too many satellites, but i tend to do pretty well when I do. I won an entry into a partypoker million tournament once, cost me like $11. I wouldnt have been able to afford the entry otherwise. The competition in satellites tends to be pretty weak, at least in my experience, so its definitely worth a shot if the actual buy in would be large compared to your bankroll. I usually play a tight game, which tends to work well in satellites where most people are loose.
  7. Either play in satellites or directly buy in. Is there any other way?
  8. Yea, something is up. I tried #2 a few times, but my mouse kept skipping. I neeeeeeeeeeeeeed to finish it though!!I give up on #2 that shit is too hard.
  9. Wow that was pretty difficult. Took me 9277 to finish, don't see those leaders did it so fast....they must know a cheat code!
  10. Hey Marion and everyone else. I was playing with Marion last night on Royal Vegas and she told me about the 9-5 crew and thought i'd check it out. Finished very shortly after her in that $2 tourney on royal vegas last night when my KK got cracked against AToff when an Ace came on the river. Gotta love that river...or not. I don't post that much on here, but I tend to read these forums very frequently while i'm at work. I'm waiting on a security clearance and have nothing else to do and usually get a good laugh or two from reading them. guess that qualifies me for membership in 9-5 crew
  11. Some players I've noticed winning and placing high in many MTT are: gator93/gator00, TheDonator, and Dawgnutz. Anyone know who any of these people are?
  12. I just played for an hour at the party poker bad beat 2/4 tables and made over $150. These tables seem incredibly soft. I don't know if its because its easter or what, but I recommend these for anyone looking to make some quick $$.
  13. JaysonWeber 904th... and as for me 1204.... poop.
  14. You don't necessarily need a 50% in the money to be profitable. That seems pretty difficult to achieve. My percentage is about 40% and ROI is about 33% i think. I don't have the stats in front of me right now. But my 1st place % is higher than 2nd and 3rd. That is playing the $10+$1 SNGs on party. I agree though that Pacific SNGs are much easier to make the money as the competion is pathetic on that site. Pokerstars seems to be quite difficult in comparison.
  15. Yeah I agree, the HORSE tourney was a lot of fun....even though I sucked in it. Gotta work on some of those games like 7 card stud. BTW my screenname on full tilt is BigMonkey.
