  1. thats not what he said. To calculate the total AND probability you have to utilize the GIVEN probability. and the GIVEN probability is with the two Kings out of the deck because you are GIVEN that the opponent has kings. you ask for the math and yet dont accept the correct answer and explanation when its given to you. good one.
  2. no youre wrong. I got .004898
  3. actually i take that all back cuz i missed that you said opponent is tight/passive. that lowers likelihood of two pair and the drawing hands enormously (cause hed probably just call) and increases the made straight likelihood significantly. I say this is a folding situation.
  4. fold or shove, no call hereyoure either up against k9 or 98 or even possibly AK or open ended straight flush draw or gut shot straight flush drawor a worse two pair or unlikely AQor unlikely a setor unlikely KK or AAIf you assign likelihood percentages to these cases and then multiply by your likelihood of winning in each case and add it up youre probably looking at around a coin flip. thus, shoving is fine because you already have 20 in the pot and you get fold equity. Id prob fold since I had you estimated at around 39% so id prefer to fold here cuz you can still get away rather cheap.
  5. prob (you KK and opp AA) = prob (opp AA | you KK) * prob you (KK) = (12 / (50 * 49)) * (1/221) = 1 / (50 * 4.0833 * 221) = 1 / 45120.465 = will happen about 1 in every 45120 heads up hands.prob of aces vs kings heads up = 1 in every 22560 handsyou screwed up your math in that it is .004898 ( 1 / (50 * 4.083333)) that you are dominated when holding KK.
  6. you guys are all way off. the best swing of all time ...........Walter Hagen!!!!!!!!
  7. heres what i think happened. For the last year the consensus has been that benyamine has been the biggest winner at the big game. The number that I had heard goin into the WSOP is he has made approx 20 million in the past year or so. Now i suspect he has been continuing his success as the big winner at the big game during the WSOP. someone prob heard this and asked "how much have you made playing the big game" Benyamine prob responds to this "20 million" with his response being in the context of his entire time playing in the big game while the original question was in the context of the
  8. last year when he was hitting like 44% of his threes or something like that he called himself "the best shooter in the game" and was dead serious too.
  9. not that terrible of an idea considering alot of sites have already implemented exactly what op is saying.
  10. amateurish play. move it all in on the river. if he has an ace hes most likely calling no matter what bet you put out there. youre lucky you were up against such a bad player who gave you the extra raises on the river. any solid player wouldnt even think of doing that and woulda cost you some extra chips you coulda drawn out.
  11. OP, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent post were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this forum is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
  12. in the bahamas with the 1/2 nl games i hear that every table you will see at least 3 people stacked over 1000. that is how loose the play is there. 4-5 way preflop all-ins are commonplace. standard raises are usually to absurd increments like 30. 15x the big blind.
  13. i wasnt playing in the game but my buddy was. it was a 1/2 nl game with 300 max buy in. one guy had approximately 6000 in front of him while another had approximately 4500 in front.
