  1. If I've got pocket Aces and four out of five cards to the nut flush and anybody moves all-in on me I'm calling! Everytime, without question.Over the long haul that has to be a money making proposition. I'd be thrilled if I was guaranteed to get into that situation at least once whenever I sat down at a poker game. (I fact I'd probably be jumping from one table to another just to see it more often.)
  2. Since the blinds were 500/1K I'd have probably put the next biggest stack in with a 12K bet, rather than betting 10K, but that's a minor point. Still, you get to stare down the next biggest stack in the hand for another 2K and ask him - "How much have you got left?" - that's probably worth the extra 2K right there!Nobody had showed any strength, you put them in a position where they were going to have to put their whole stack in to see another card, you have position and a pocket pair, it seems like a reasonable move to me. Once you put in the 12K chips nobody can come back over the top at y
  3. I think you played the hand better than the guy with the KK55 on the flop did, if that makes you feel better. They checked around to you twice, you were low on chips and had four to a flush, you took a stab at it and missed. That's poker.Look at the bright side, you got to see a free card on the turn to get you to the four spades, that wasn't a very smart play by the KK55. I think he should've bet before the turn, at least to feel you guys out. Actually he was in double jeopardy because he was letting the big blind hang around to draw for free, too. I'll bet he didn't win the tournament
