  1. You know I cant help but think of this when i read all the stuff on the lawsuit. My only hope is the judge that hears their case is a **** from FCP. My god if I knew that happened I dont think Greg would be able to show his face in public EVER.
  2. i just recently broke a cold streak today. It had dated back to april 30th of this year. It was mostly live Sng's that I was playing. I did have a pretty good day in a ring game a few days, but it was nothing major like 300 bucks.
  3. uh huh i never said it would make all of my dreams come true i know that 50k doesnt buy jack **** anymore. What i was saying is the 48k would be a better bankroll to work with. Most likely it would mean an end to my "working" career cause i would be focusing more on poker.
  4. The 48k would allow me to move up in the amount of buy-in per tournament therefore winning more money and not neediing a job.
  5. Never said i didnt make that now. Although im not a pro, i do play a LOT of poker. But with the birth of my first son i stopped relying on poker to pay the bills cause i knew it wasnt a GAURANTEED income. Parenting is something i take very seriously, and its quite apparent that the parents of the grinder didnt.
  6. Im glad i amuse you donk, but when they make a thread named Lets amuse grinder then I guess we can all take turns. Until then take your RC cola drinkin moonpie eating double wide trailer livin donk *** to the store and get your ho some more marlboros.
  7. No actually im 25. How this thread went from commenting on Daniel's obviously sub par play this year to my life story ill never know. BTW living in the midwest is CHEAP. I pay 350 bucks for a 3 bedroom house that most of you would prolly pay 1200-1500 for.
  8. No i wouldnt be living in a trailer. I would be playing the mini poker tournaments around here. The President Casino has a good small buy in tournament which I was grinding out 1500 bucks a week in till my kid was born. It is a 60 dollar buy-in winner take all 10 person Sit-N-Go. Winner gets $500. I made about 26k last year grinding those and some other home game tournaments out.
  9. Perhaps someone should remind him Roy McAvoy didnt win the US open he only made the shot of the tournament when he put 4 in a row in the drink. On a more serious note someone tackle Daniel and take his money away from him. Just becuase its unlimited rebuys doesnt mean spending 48,000 for a 1,000 dollar tournament. Yes I know he would buy a bracelet in a heartbeat, but lady luck is telling him to take a hike at the moment. I honestly would NEVER have to work again in my life if i had just even the 48,000 that daniel has spen so far.
  10. Just wanted to ask if either he or TJ were gonna be available for these. 40 dollar bounties are always nice.
  11. I have a question that is gonna eat on me for probably a whole year cause it was possibly my last chance for a seat in the 05 WSOP. Location: Harrahs St. LouisEvent: WSOP Satellite Background on the tournament its 100 players 200 hundred dollar buy in. Everyone starts with 3000 chips. Blinds go up every 15 minutes and started at 25/50.Beginning of the day i played i landed some nice hands. The table started off a blind buying session as people were raising(over betting the pot really) and not getting called. I picked up a few chips prolly got to 5000ish. hand Scenario 1:Blinds 25/50 wit
  12. I have won a LOT of SNG tables and played in some 1/4/8/8 limit holdem. I dont have an accurate count, but if i had to guess it would be close to 50-60 tournaments in 6 months(the irs is gonna have fun with me). In the live limit holdem game i am down about $300.00. You are absolutely right about people calling you with anything. You ask the question is there a way you can slow down your game for the limits going up in the main event. Well playing a lot less hands is one way. The marginal hands you play in your home game will work about half the time in the main event as more and mor
  13. well atleast one person on this forum knows how to read.i wasnt saying she HAD 9 bracelets. I was pointing out that she got in the ToC without 9 braclets or tons of WSOP winnings.
  14. You guys knock Annie Duke. It is not cause she has won millions of dollars at WSOP events or that she has 9 bracelets like phil and doyle. Annie got her spot cause she was the leading money winner for the women. WSOP/harrahs and ESPN all wanted her there cause 9 times out of 10 if you ask her to play the ladies tournament she will decline. From Annie's standpoint she is as good if not better than a lot of players who play on the WSOP, and nothing would please her more than to prove it and prove it she did by winning the TOC. As far as her getting lucky? Hardly. It still takes some skill
  15. Its not funny actually is kinda retarded. In the town I live in(Centralia) weekend and weekly weekday holdem tournaments were a fixture for quite a while. Then Blago the fago came through and shut em down. It seems this is happening in other states as well as IL. The biggest solution is that if firehouses bars and pubs all want to have holdem tournaments then make them aquire a small time gambling license. To me that sounds like the best option if they want to keep up with gambling revenues from these small time games. As far as the private cash game in your home or apartment. Those wil
