No, Pham would have had Kings and Queens as he was holding KQ vs Maxfields AK. Pham would have had two pair, Kings and Queens with a 10 Kicker, while Maxfield would have had Kings and Tens with an Ace Kicker.Still Pham would be the winner if a King fell. I do not see it.Obviously, it really doesn't matter, but since it was published, I just wanted to see if I was completely clueless and not seeing the obvious. Reading the october issue of All-In Magazine, there is a hand shown on page # 37. The hand is from the WPT Season 3 Championship and was an All In bet / call between Paul Maxfield and John Pham. After the chips were in the center, the hands were turned over.Paul Maxfield held Ad Kh, while John Pham held Ks QdMaxfield is listed in the article as a 73% favorite at this point. The flop came down 6d 10c Qc, pairing Pham's Queen.Pham now has a pair, and is shown as a 69% favorite now, but I think it is closer to 72%. Maxfield now has a gutshot straight draw, and an Ace overcard. The Turn was the 10

Good game, sir. flop was not pretty for you with the guy flopping the nuts against you, kings full. 6th place not a bad payday. -
Is Dan going to buy-in twice and make the final table with both entries? That would be the greatest fear I would have ever seen from the World Series if that occurs.

And then there were 3....Make that 2 -- That eight on the river! WOW!

And then there were 3....

I thought this was extremely funny when my friend told me about this hand....He was in a free bar tournament, and previously on a different table where this older woman (probably in her early 60s) was playing and winning hands on draws, calling with anything, etc... He got moved to a different table and was happy to get away from her because of the hands she was hitting playing cards she should not be playing. Anyway, he is at the new table and having fun at the table with the people he was playing with. Later on as luck would have it, the older woman got moved to his table, And the conversa -
I posted this last night, but it is not showing on the forum list? I will post this one more time. Sorry for the duplication if I am not doing something right. Was this a bad laydown? I was playing in a $1 buy-in tournament on Pokerstars saturday night (11:30pm start). There were 2262 entrants into this tournament. This hand happened a little bit after the 2nd break. I was sitting with an above average stack at the time.
